I’m begging you guys to listen and react to Del Water Gap. His catalog is so beautiful. My favorite song of his is “Ode to a conversation stuck in your throat”. He released one of my personal favorite albums ever in 2021, then in 23’ followed up with a great record, and now this year released a beautiful project. If you guys do end up listening, listen in order of his projects. The growth shown is amazing. :))

not to be an absolute freak but this is also one of my favorite albums ever and i 100% agree that it’s one of the best records ever made. i remember staying up on a school night to binge the album upon release, then listened to it AGAIN before falling asleep. i’ve seen them 5 times (twice on their most recent tour) and it only gets better with every passing year!!

If you like instrumental stuff mydreamfever - 2. Blue Lucent Reverie is amazing. It is Korean which I don’t believe you have done yet but it’s such a great showcase of what he can do. Also he has full instrumental albums and a shoegaze band called Parannoul which you gotta check out too.

I've been re-listening to this album sooo much since you guys reacted to their debut!! I remember being 14 when Love Me dropped, waiting to hear it at 6pm on BBC r1 and being literally blindsided by it. Could not have expected that sound at all !!!!! Their early music makes me soooo nostalgic and I loved hearing all the influences you guys can pick up in this one :)

Please Be Naked reminds me so much of early Brian Eno (Ambient 2 specifically) with the piano and Matty has said his favorite genre of music is ambient so I'm sure Mr Eno has had a fair bit of influence on them

my mom got me this album on CD for Xmas when I drove a Wrangler with nothing but a 6-disc player. eventually blew the drivers side speakers out and learned to love this (and every album) from the right pan til that car bit dust! love me always makes me smile now thinking of the times I only needed to hear half of that guitar riff to put on a happy face
