Dad Reacts to Dave - The Boy Who Played The Harp

Been hoping for a Dave reaction for a few years. Would love to see "We're all alone in this together" from him, I think y'all would dig the album

The boy who played harp is a reference to King David in the Bible.

Psychodrama and We’re all alone in this together as well as My 19th Birthday from the Game Over EP If you want more of him at his best

Please do ‘We’re all alone in this together’

WE'RE ALL ALONE IN THIS TOGETHER please :)

btw for when you listen to 'we're all in this together' album (*manifesting it*), bit of uk context that will come in handy to catch some bars in one of the songs (but no spoilers on the song!). Basically there are two main political parties in the UK - Labour and Conservatives. Conservatives are colloquially called the Tory party. Previous leader of Labour party was Jeremy Corbyn. 🫡

For a bit of context to the 'My 27th Birthday' track, it follows on from his songs 'My 19th Birthday' (on Game Over EP), 'My 24th Birthday' (I think this was a single), and 'Our 25th Birthday' (on the EP he released with Central Cee called Split Decision). When you listen to them all you can see how he's changed over the years which is so cool! And +1 to the comments recommending his 'We're all alone in this together' album next! His best album IMO. So glad you guys are finally listening to Dave! <3

Just joined for this

Hey, just joined the Patreon! I can’t find the Psychodrama solo stream on here. Does anyone know where it is?

UK viewer, I just want to say you guys have time and time again made my day, but more importantly you help a lot of people get out of a bad headspace. Kevin you're genuinely an icon to people without fathers, Connor, thank you for allowing us to go in this journey some of us cannot follow. Much love.

so interesting to hear kev say that dave sounds 'not from the streets'. as a brit myself you can really pick up his 'street' accent. funny how it just doesnt translate across cultures at all

Idk if anyone else commented this already but his name was SANTANDAVE for years he dropped the Santan a long time ago (it was a reference to his history of bank scams) but he has referred to himself as Santan a few times in his songs since dropping it off his name publicly

Great to see you guys tapping into Dave, love your work as always. Can’t recommend you guys going back and listening to Kano’s latest two albums: Made in the Manor & Hoodies All Summer. For many of us over here he is considered our best ever rapper, seeing these two going back and forth on Chapter 16 was special.

You guys gotta do We’re All Alone In This Together now and Split Decision with Cench… Kevin killed that interlude!! lol

We will now need Dave’s other album and Jim Legaxcy’s first album which dropped earlier this year Black British Music - arguably album of the year along with this one on this side of the pond

You guys haveee to listen to his other projects. his album “we’re all alone in this together” honestly has some of his best tracks, i highly recommend you check it out.

I can't wait until you two get to the new Lily Allen album. Whoo boy! I'd like a special alarm sound for that notification.

Been listening to Dave since Six Paths dropped. All my US friends said “no one will ever care about Dave” and he’s fantastic. The growth has been immense! For James Blake do Assume Form or Friends that Break Your Heart. His other projects are amazing too but those would be the best starting point imo. Also, recommending You Can’t Kill Me and Petrichor from 070 Shake

Still waiting for the 1975 self titled…

please listen to the new Leon Thomas EP, it is amazing

pls do a jim legxacy reaction! One of my favourite albums of the year.

I completely resonated with Kevin when he spoke about the emotions that “Fairchild” brought was similar to “Ice Cream Man” by RAYE. I would love to see you react/listen to 21st Century Blues and your thoughts on the songs or any singles she has released.

Would love a “we’re all alone in this together” Dave reaction & the psychodrama livestream

gotta say, calling james blake a feature artist is crazy lol. he has his own unique sound and production alongside his vocals. you should really spin The Colour in Anything

Porter Robinson Worlds Pls

Please do Kneecap - Fine Art as the anti-religion album 😆 * not really anti-religion but still such a fun album

please react to The passionate ones by Nourished by time

Where can I find the reaction livestream on Psychodrama??? Would love to see the reaction in Lesley

2nd viewer here from Winnipeg!!!! Certified Winnipeggers😭

the people demand a west end girl listen

Does anyone know if we can still find the solo stream where he reacts to psychodrama

A psychodrama reaction is needed guys. Incredible lyricism.

Incredible album, I highly recommend We're all alone in this together, probably my favorite Dave album although he doesn't have a bad album they're all good

You HAVE to do Kano’s albums

Please listen to Kano - Made in the Manor

You guys should react to Olivia Dean’s latest album if you haven’t heard it yet!

wait you guys MUST react to a James Blake album. Self Titled, Overgrown, Friends That Break Your Heart. I’ll take anything 😩

This video got me out of bed and in the gym this morning, so glad you reacted to Dave. Definetely check out Hoodies all Summer by Kano you WILL NOT regret it🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Yessss

Super reaction. Please please can you soon react to Tems ? 😃

Been waiting for this one 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Not from Winnipeg but from Sydney and i remember Kevin saying he wouldn’t visit Australia because of the animals. Please come Visit I swear they’re not that bad 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Tears in my eyes!!! Been waiting for a dave reaction ❤️

Just woken up to see you guys posted this, consider my day made. Appreciate you guys 🫶🏻

Where is the psychodrama reaction?!!!?!

Would love to see you guys react to Jordan Rakei - The Loop

Last comment You should check out the rest of the my birthday series in your own time . Connor, if you do checkout Kanos discography, you have to be open minded, If you haven't listened to too much grime it can feel a bit jarring or inaccessible. Hoodies all summer is probably his most accessible album as a new listener.

Big up from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Been waiting for some Dave! 🤩

Lets go kev with the solo psychodrama stream!! is there anywhere i can watch it?
