Cameron Winter shows his Dad Heavy Metal by Cameron Winter

I haven't seen them make the comparison yet but his voice reminds me a lot of Isaac Wood, the former lead singer of Black Country New Road
I really enjoyed this album! I got curious after hearing your thoughts/analysis about the lyrics and found an interesting interview. It doesn't really go into the songs much, but it gives great context to the record. Thought you guys might be interested: https://www.thelineofbestfit.com/features/interviews/cameron-winter-not-kidding-this-time
Ontario drinking age is 19
surprised to see you guys haven’t done i got heaven by mannequin pussy! seems right up your alley
This could not have surprised me more. I didn’t even finish the geese album because it didn’t do anything for me. I almost didn’t watch this because I was worried I’d feel the same. Geez this album is amazing. Thank y’all for putting me on peak.
Hell yeah dude. I can see that, I like his solo stuff more than Geese's stuff in general and it definitely appeals to different tastes. Glad you get to experience Heavy Metal's greatness
yall should check out songs:ohia. magnolia electric co is one of the best albums of all time and it is very clearly a huge influence on this record. highly highly recommend

Will you guys do the 4D Country EP?
wolf alice reaction soon? 🙏
Yes need that
enjoyed it.
been waiting for this one!!!!! yay!!! and to reply to kevin: honestly i think the reason why i personally love this album so much is it rlly just feels like cameron exposing and talking about some of the heaviest things in his head (ref. the title). it really feels like we are in his mind in this album, a song like nina + a field of cops is so chaotic and non stop, almost like he can’t stop these thoughts from spilling out. he can’t stop the noise. whether it’s cameron himself, or a character he’s playing, i just love the idea of this album being his inner monologue. and to be frank, i relate to a lot of the noise and lyrics he throws onto this album. that’s why i come back to it. it feels like a puzzle i’ll never fully put together, but i’m not supposed to, just like someone’s thoughts. it will never fully make sense. if that makes any sense at all HAHAH. 🖤 keen for the getting killed reaction.
Please do wolf Alice’s new album. They are the best indie band in england currently on the scene and their latest album is a fucking classic.
Why did I actually think this was going to be heavy metal 😭
As someone born and raised in Ireland I can confirm from the age of 7+ they provided a Guiness per correct question answered in school
bro how the hell did they not cry during this?? 😭 I can’t help but cry with pretty much this whole album lol, especially with drinking age and $0. I love that drop after the high pitch note in drinking age, always makes me bawl.
I USE TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS 🙏🙏😭😭😭
you guys should really check out manning fireworks by mj lenderman
Wait hang on. How do you have Getting Killed on Vinyl already? Second question. Is it good??

If you like this you should check out his live stuff, I saw him open for Waxahatchee and it was just him on piano; it’s unbelievably stirring and intense, plus he’s hilarious between songs
I'm glad you finally told your dad that youre a quite successful musician, so we dont have to keep this secret anymore
That title is all time
I believed the title for a second😂
I can’t wait to get killed in October!
Finally
Lmao this title is funny, but fun fact: Cameron Winter DID show his dad his album and he and the label and the people working Cameron said it wouldn’t do well or be received well… they were wrong lol
