this album was so formative for me. its so funny to see kevin craving drums on Ivy because that song, at least to me, is perfection. it’s exactly what it needed to be for me at 16 falling in love for the first time. gives me chills

❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 your banter in between solo and skyline to made me emotional because i started watching you guys with your Arctic Monkeys AM (one of my favorite albums ever) reaction back in 2022. I was in such a dark place and chronically holed up in my room on youtube. I fell in love with you guys and your humor, I’ve always appreciated Kevin’s transparency about his own mental health and how music effects him and how much joy Conor gets getting to show his dad music that he’s grown up with. Listening to how Kevin’s grown in his musical journey has just shown me how much I have by listening to you guys, music and albums I never would’ve listened to, I watched you guys react to and have such a deeper appreciation for creative choices. Now 3 years later, i’m in such a better mental state, and I listen to y’all at night on graveyard shifts. Much love from Texas! 22:00 really puts life into perspective for me, bc I rememeber when you guys first started making vids I was really going through a reactionary content phase. And when I watched the first few vids I could tell that Kev was alot more reserved and "on the fence" so to speak about some of the music being shown to him. Now I feel like I know the guy, he's so bubbly and down for new weird shit. It's given me the courage to show my own father some music, which he showed me a majority of the older gen classics and hidden gems, but is very reserved with his music taste. Hopefully he'll come around, but witnessing this relationship between you both grow over the years has been the next best thing. Thank you guys :,)

I remember watching the original video thinking this is gonna be exciting… but ended up being bummed out over your pops reaction, but then I remembered I didn’t like blonde my first listen either it. Blonde took me over a year to fall in love with and that’s why this reaction made me giddy and excited to watch … such an experience wish I could re listen to this album again for the first time

Kevin mentions different versions of ivy with drums and they definitely did that while recording, they did several different versions of basically every song had different people on different versions, Zach Hill from DG famously recorded stuff they didn’t use for Blonde. Im p sure different versions exist somewhere online plus he did different versions of a couple songs i remember Nights for sure at his infamous Coachella set that i personally absolutely love

Hope you read this because i’m not usually a commenter, but have to let you know that i really appreciate you guys. Been following since that mbdtf reaction and have to say that 4 years have gone really fast. But you guys have always been there to brighten me up even in the worst times. I lost my dad at a young age to cancer and he was as much as a music lover as Kevin is. I would have loved to do this with him and i know he would have loved it too. So thank you guys for making it feel like the real thing. Hope you get to enjoy good music with eachother for a very long time. I’ll definitely keep tuning in! <3

I think we all would love to hear both your takes on Frank Ocean’s Endless. Released one day before Blond to satisfy his record label contract it’s not available on streaming so it’s less known but just as experimental as Blond but with a complete different vibe. Love the revisit of Blond, it’s such a joy watching you both grow around these albums that mean so much to so many people. ❤️

I feel like White Ferrari gets such much praise but only at such a surface level for sounding good (which is okay) but that song is so much more. Idk how to explain it but imagine the og/demo version of the song is how the song is supposed to sound like in real life but the version released on the album is how the song sounds like when youre intoxicated and youre very free, youre next to your lover, and your both just embarrassing that high together. There isnt a lot directly said but like he says “I didnt care to state the plain, we’re both so familiar” is so beautiful because sometimes for me whenever i get high i get super paranoid sometimes so having that security of someone’s embrace and understanding that they love you is so beautiful. I really cant explain it with words but this song is so unbelievably beautiful.
