Apologies, but due to some recent Life Events™ I'm not going to be able to write AYEH this week. I'll have an AYEH chapter written next week instead (which would normally be my break week).

Thea is probably terrified that if the Preservers figure out about the Slave/Master funcion of the artifact they might fell tempted to set themselves up as masters. Or much worse, they might begin mass producing cages of returning pain and using them as soldiers. This might lead to Earth Guardians becoming obsolete: 1 - just one artifact was able to produce enough power to match Castallia; 2 - Artifacts are completely unable of disobeying; 3 - They look like robots, so the Preserves can lie to Earth and improve their public image; it just makes sense that the Preservers would be very tempted.
Unfortunate, but relatable. Take as much time as you feel you need <3
