I've worked for AB provincial NDP campaigns, at doorsteps told to disavow the federal NDP's stance on climate 😂 dude intimated that AB NDP would probably splinter off if federal NDP won and pursued their stated climate policy. Candidate was an oilsands heavy mechanic. Notley and Horgan pretty much freed me of any obligation to pay the NDP any mind
I work with unhoused people in Parkdale (Toronto) and the NDP candidate (Paul Taylor) shows up at our building occasionally to take a couple pictures with poor people in between posing taking a bite out of $18 sandwiches in the gentrified parts of the neighbourhood. I'm guessing he's one of the better major party candidates for whatever that's worth. But god damn, i've never seen a guy look so shamelessly comfortable in front of a camera. It looks like he's on a 36 day vanity tour while occasionally vaguely talking about the housing crisis

why is the NDP platform exactly the same as the Bernie 2020 platform without adjusting for local conditions?
Etienne it's the same reason why the Conservative party took the British conservative dine out policy and just control+f and replaced "Britain" with "Canada". We are not a serious country and are toddlers mimicking the adults in our politics.
