Dutch person here: I had no idea Archer was anything other than a novelist. This was such a ride.
Withnail and I mentioned 🗣🗣🗣 I fall more in love with Hessa every episode
"Caught in a Sex Trap" sounds like a Clogheads song to me.
I loved reading about this guy in my late lib phase late in college going into the ‘08 crash… (American). Was unaware of T. Dan Smith, tho? That was illuminating along with the Britianology ep about Cumbernauld as an American viewer of Bill Forsyth films that show it? Can’t libel the guy now that he’s recently dead, so might as well tamp down the dirt / hover like reaper and pounce on the corpse & scoop the story given the business of content creator or how other writers used to pounce when one would die / pretty cut throat and claustrophobic over there in the UK, tho? The podcast about scams that is itself a scam (can’t complain / I’m a willing patron / participant / Rube(erist)? Is Jeffrey Archer sorta UK Lee Atwater in some ways, but instead of being particularly ideological he just wants to be rich and famous as a scammer moreso?
