Mona Daily Life with Slime - A Familiar Fate (¬‿¬)❤️ - WIP

... I really should've split this one into 2 or 3 WIPs (っ˶´ ˘ `)っ

Heyhey everyone! Hope ur days are going most amazing, and that hot summer doesn't bring you too much trouble! But in case it does, Mona and Slime are here to bring u lots and lots of cool Slime vibes! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) ❤️

Sorry for a bit of a delay in posts. Usually we've been presenting our WIPs in 8-20 second chunks, but this time i got a bit carried away with new sequence. I remember that not so long ago I've made a post of a ~30 seconds animation, calling it our biggest WIP yet. And well... that title didn't last for long. Cause the sequence we've prepared for you today is much MUCH bigger XD Our favorite Astrologist and her Slime were very busy these last few weeks, and today we are super happy to bring you a whole minute long preview of their new adventures together! 🔥٩(｡•`◡´•｡)۶🔥 (Well, 59.3 seconds technically, but whatever (｡> ‿ ◕｡) ❤️)

And it has it all! Tons of custom animations, some fun loops, fluid sims, a smol pre-action climax, lots of tentacle action... And a smol problem for me - to explain where all that slime is coming from =P Probably will have to do add a separate scene a bit before action, to justify THAT amount of slime in Mona's house XD

And while nothing too crazy happens story-wise, I still think you're looking at a pretty substantial chunk of the final project. So if you'd rather avoid spoilers, explore the rest of this post carefully! (｡> ‿ ◕｡)❤️

Big big thanks to Rii (@riizuwu) and Kitsune for their work on voicing and sound for this one! We've spent quite a bit of time updating Rii's recording rig, did lots of testing and calibrations, so it should all sound better then ever! We are also experimenting with some new ambient music to replace our usual lo-fi tracks - something that fits these later, more magical moments of "Mona Daily Life with Slime" better. And today's WIP features one of those new tracks, and I really hope you'll enjoy it!

Back to the scenes tho - as I mentioned above, I should've really split this one into multiple WIPs and released separately. But in my eyes, this whole sequence really shines when all of these scenes are put together. It was quite a leap to produce so much of fully finished and voiced animation at once, so our next WIPs will probably be much smaller and released much faster.

One part that gave me the biggest headache was the final two climax shots. I spent nearly a week brainstorming ideas, putting together 6 or 7 completely different versions... only to scrap every single one of them. But thanks to all the feedback and ideas that u've been sharing with me on our working stream, I finally found two camera angles that felt just right! And those are the ones you can see at the very end of this WIP! I've wanted to try adding a smol climax before the main action for a long time now, and I really hope you'll like how it turned out! (っˆڡˆς)❤️

Meanwhile, having one giant slime pillow covering almost the entire screen finally let me go wild with colors and lighting in ways that Monas usual house normally doesn't allow. It really reminded me why I loved using this kind of setup in the first place. Tho this time I heavily play with the background shapes and composition, trying to frame Mona better than I ever did before. I might've gone a little overboard with that by the end, where Slime is basically everywhere purely for the visual style, so I hope it doesn't feel too distracting. I'll try to tune it down a little in future scenes... but no promises there (｡> ‿ ◕｡)❤️

Speaking of the next scenes - its time to jump right on em! Over the past few months I've collected all the juiciest ideas for the poses u've sent to me, and it's finally time to let Mona experience the very best of them! And also to finally remove her top - I've been looking forward to putting that sequence together for quite a while XD

So thank you so much for all the love, support, feedback and amazing ideas! You've helped so much to shape this project into its very best form, and I super cant wait to finally bring it to you in its full! So stay most awesome, safe n healthy, and see ya just in a few with more working Discord streams, WIPs and releases! ❤️✧٩(｡◕ ꇴ ◕｡)۶✧*❤️

P.S. There are more scenes in the actual video file - be sure to check it out! Also it is our 13s WIP for "Mona daily life with Slime", and it has 13 scenes. And it starts with scene N69 (¬‿¬)❤️
Ok, im out (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
