Patch 1.122
Today’s 1.122 update has caused serious problems with mods.
At the moment, many mods are not loading at all — including not just script mods, but also CC and other non-script mods. This is not a typical patch break, and the situation is currently unclear. The community is shocked, and many are hoping this is just a mistake rather than an intentional change by EA.
👉 If you play with mods, do NOT update your game. Stay offline for now.
If you have already updated, be aware that mods may not work at all.
Right now, it’s very possible that EA will need to either roll back the update or release additional patches to fix these issues.
As for me, I will not be updating my game, and I will not be testing or updating my mods until we have more clarity from EA.
I’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more.

We’ve identified the cause of the issue impacting CC and Mods, and are now working on the fix and timing for its release. We know how important these are to how you play, and will continue to work on resolving this as a top priority. We’ll update you once we have more detailed timing for the fix. @Game News

having issues with one option in the online store it keeps give a exceptions error.
Please provide a detailed error description and all logs (Smart Core, MCCC, BE). Discord is the best place to do this.
Literally noone asked for this stupid maketplace or whatever, just make the game run smoothly lag free istg
I stg if they are intentionally breaking mods for a money grab I will jump off the top of the St. Louis arch.
No hurting yourself because eaxis are idiot assholes (preferably no doing that at all but this is a Patreon comment section and I'm not trained to deal w that)
I worry that it’s on purpose bc of their marketplace
I really hope that EA is not intentionally programming the game to not allow mods/CC. They would lose like 1/3 of their player base then. I would definitely stop playing this game if I couldn't play with mods or CC & I have over 4,000 hours logged.
I HAVE MINE TURNED OFF FOR AUTOUPDATE AND IT UPDATED ANYWAY. EVEN OFFLINE WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO PLAY THE GAME. FRICK AND FRACK EA
the game itself might still have updates turned on from internal game settings. it's happened to me before, I'm sorry it happened to you.
Phew. Narrowly avoided launching the update!!! I knew there was a reason I was waiting to update. I just took my game offline entirely. All thanks go to the CC creators and modders like you who keep us simmers well informed ❤️
