This week features the wrap-up of the brothel storyline in the epilogue. Unlock all the bandit customer events and avoid the "primary" cheating partners to unlock this ending variation. As with the other ending variations, there are two levels to this. The first one unlocking for Victory Ending A, the second one if you go to B.

In terms of main content, this will already be it for 1.5.0, now we are just back in waiting mode for the CGs.

Other than that I am still being distracted with business stuff idk the world seems to hate me. While I finally have a tax ID, I now had to battle paypal last week and this week, spending more time on the phone with paypal support than developing the game... My new business acount kept bugging out and even now my functionality is restricted because all the bugging out raised flags on paypals side to distrust the account.... It seems that the root issue is that my name coincides with that of a politician sitting in German parliament which then raised some flags during the onboarding process and kicked me out of the German onboarding process into the US one..............

Also I noticed this week that I fucked up and didn't put the GmbH name onto the doorbell - previously all my mail would always be sent to me because in my previous company form I was the company, but now there can be mail that is directed to the company without mentioning my name.... Welp........... That may explain the last two IDs which I am missing still. I have been successfully receiving mail for the new company with letters adressing both the company name and my personal name, so I hadn't thought about this problem at all. I fixed the issue on Monday when the mailman slipped mail below the door to the multi-party house that I live in and this thought occured to me. I had put the company name on the mailbox inside the building --- but if nobody is there to let the mailman in, he usually slides in the mail below the door but probably only for people who are actually listed on the doorbell.

Idk this all feels incredibly silly. I have requested the IDs to be resent, who knows how many weeks it will take. If only we could digital communication to avoid all this mess... The good news is that with my company Paypal account is working now (kind of, I just always need to manually send money from my bank account to it because automatic withdrawal is restricted...), the payment side has finally fully migrated to the GmbH. Now I just need to be able to pay myself salary which I haven't been able to for like 4 months and redirect the tax demands to the new company (currently my government wants to tax my income this year twice, once for the new GmbH once for my old business structure as a sole trader). x_______X

Also my had bank merged with another bank and my banking information changed which also caused a lot of flags to be triggered while I was migrating various other accounts to the company. I hope our wiki doesn't go offline in a week when the domain renewal comes around because that's one of the places. In some other places the bank merge seems to have completely bugged and destroyed all connection to my banking account and it seems to not be able to not recognize the newly formed bank. Those other places includes the accounting software that I am using and the Q3 deadline for the quartely tax reports is due to tomorrow.

It was a fun week.

Compare the length of the gamedev talk in this post to the part of me rambling about everything else and it's a fairly accurate representation of how I spent my time.

On the side of good news, even though there are still some roadblocks, Trihan and I decided we will be finally doing the switch from his current roughly half-time freelance work to full-time next month.
