As mentioned in the other post, I will be using this post to link to the artist portfolios since I can't link to NSFW content on public posts.
Portfolios
Deniis: https://anime11111.carrd.co/ | https://nsfw125.carrd.co/
Emubi: Well, SKA. :'D
Nirainini: https://www.deviantart.com/nirainini | https://x.com/NiniNirai | https://www.reddit.com/user/NiraiNini/
Vane: No website portfolio. I wanted to post some portfolio entries from their DMs but now that I'm about to do it, I realize that the characters look a bit young, to the point where I'd rather not do it since they are from my side not really a candidate anymore.
Vourem: https://nyndartspice.carrd.co/
Weekun: https://weekun.carrd.co/
I decided to open polling for everyone who's subbed to maximize the input. Poll will close 12 AM next Friday in CET so I can announce the results in that day's prerelease devlog post.

Vourem's design is fantastic, especially the expressions of the face. It's a refreshing departure from the style of SKA and you can easily see the potential for corruption. Weekun could be very useful as an assistant, especially if they're able to mimic other's art styles. Their rapid pace and low price could open the path for additional frames in scenes where we'd normally only have one or two.
I forgot Deniis also sent me a seperate link for a dedicated nsfw portfolio. I have added the link to the post.
Just a heads up, poll results are gonna be heavily skewed. Denalis is both first and one of three that have easily viewed and linked portfolios (Vourem and Weekun being the others.) Emubi will be under represented despite "SKA" because there's no immediate examples. Nirainini requires a DeviantArt profile. Vane has no links. Vourem is more stylized and shaded than the current art style of SKA (even though it's pretty good overall.) Weekun is the only one I'd considered not as good as the others due to facial characteristics being... off. Personally, Deniis, Emubi, and Vourem are all pretty good, and I can't comment on Vane or Nirainini due to not having access to their portfolios.
I have added additional links for Nirainini
they are very good but i have to go with "deniis" but if you need more than one any one of them is very good, but my vote is as above.
You got some good candidates there. I'm having a hard time deciding.
The portfolio of Nirainini is really good and, while I was not that blown away by the style they submitted for the selection, this made me give them a vote, anyway. I agree with a lot here that from what was submitted, Deniis, Emubi and Weekun have a style that fits really well with what was established (and the quick turn-around by Weekun can be a strong plus once you both got the style brief down and they got used to your style of confirming things) but I would be quite happy with any of the artists selected that you already decided are not out of the running.
The first is really good. The third is really fine and totally change the graphic style of your game, that is not a problem for me but some guys don't like change. I also like the last, not just for his price and speed, but because i really like his style.
Deniis' design seems the best. This Liora looks cute, but still serious and commanding. Perfect for the game. It also seems similar enough to Emubi's style to satisfy existing SKA fans. BUT their portfolio (the linked one and what I found on the Internet) worries me. I suggest giving them some more tests to confirm they can keep up the style in the long run. Emubi would be the safest choice as they had proven themselves and they do seem passionate about your projects. However, would hiring a full-time assistant really double the output? BUT I don't like the design. It goes too much into commanding, evokes "desire to punish or subjugate" at best rather than desire to corrupt. Also doesn't feel like a protagonist. If you go with Emubi, I hope you make a brand new Liora design and maybe leave this one as a side character for a future game. Other artists didn't impress me. So Deniis if you think they are up for the task, otherwise Emubi.
This seems to be the best course. If Deniis is reliable then that's great. Otherwise the ever reliable Emubi would likely be safer and therefore better. That being said, I didn't see anything worrying so Deniis is my main vote
#1 looks by far the best. Also pretty cheap at 110 #3 has weirdly big eyes, the proportions look wrong and her skirt is very flat and off-looking. #4's mouth is completely fucked #5 took too long, there's no point hiring someone that can't keep deadlines. But even then the body looks weirdly stitched together. #6 Doesn't look like the prompt at all. The anatomy also looks off. On the other hand, quantity has a quality of its own. A 2 day turnaround time and an extremely cheap price are pretty neat. Emubi is Emubi, it's very similar to SKA, and I find him to be a bit static in his poses (especially in multi-character scenes), and his female faces look quite similar. While his reliability is great, and his work is certainly good, this project should be used to test out different artists as well since losing the artist for this project isn't as big of an issue.
My fellow patrons, if I may brigade for Emubi. Their is strong value in someone who has shown to consistently deliver reliable work, and commit to a game project like Aura.
First 3 are all good options, especially Emubi since we know they can deliver but personally I'm not a fan of the hair in this specific illustration. Much prefer to have it free-flowing but hopefully that can be remedied with either options or perhaps a contract later on. I did vote for all 3 but in order I'd say 2 > 1 >>3
I second all of these points. The only "issue" I have with Emubi, is that stylistically the arms and hands in SKA have always felt just a bit too small. However, that is very much a personal preference, and one that I have been perfectly able to overlook for all of SKA. There is a lot to be said for proven consistency.
