MONDAY RELEASE UPDATE

Im up for anything really
Speaking for myself, it would be helpful if you had a reactions done and reactions planned list page. I always hesitate to make suggestions because I don't watch everything in order so I don't know if you have already done, for example, Serenity the movie and Firefly the TC series it was based upon. As an older viewer (I am 57) there are a lot of little discussed movies I would like to see your reaction to that came out in the 1970-1990 period that a lot of younger viewers may not have ever heard of.
Episodes? How many episodes are there in Grave of the Fireflies?
How can I officially put in requests ?
Paypal donations, write down PATREON + your suggestion. TV shows are voted, I don't take requests on shows. DM if you need details
I agree with this route and yes you need to finish all the series that you specifically mentioned. The Hobbit movies are not too far off in overall quality compared to Lord of The Rings so I think you’ll enjoy it, regardless I’ll enjoy the reactions.
BTW Mr. LB , I don't know if you have watched Deadpool & Wolverine yet , But a heads up , there is a end credits scene. "Forewarned is Forearmed ." Peter Vincent - Fright Night
sounds like a great plan. hopefully when you get into the marvel shows you can do multiple episodes, as they are shorter than a film. either way, seems like a logical move going forward.
You should do Anime, good anime, and basically double your audience. You'll like it, do market analysis on YouTube
Wrong. He will lose half his audience. This is a Movie and T.V. show reaction channel with paid members that pay specifically for that genre. Not Anime! It's basic common sense bud. If we wanted anime reactions we would go find a anime reaction channel instead of this. We get it though you like anime. Point taken. I don't judge.
I think you should do animated Spiderman movies but as far as most of those movies you mentioned become bad after the first or first few movies. Like the entire Lord of The Rings is good, but the Hobbit movies suck... Although the old animated hobbit movie was rad. Maybe you should just incorporate animated stuff, and not just ANIME, I mean just good animation overall.. and do AOT
I recommend the Netflix series if you want to continue with Marvel. A few of the other Marvel movies were good like Shang Chi.
You have enough variety in your content that i'm good with however you choose. Long as you don't start doing those weird Japanese kids cartoon shows I think you'll be fine.
Dude, "kids" cartoons are sometimes actually good, like Airbender for instance. However I think you're talking about anime, which is just "Japanese Animation" and although a lot are at least "Kid Appropriate", I highly doubt you consider watching a kid watching his mom being chomped in two with amazing blood animation (Attack on Titan: handles the topic of war, human nature, ptsd, racism... ect in an increíble way, I rate it higher than GOT and Breaking Bad PUT TOGETHER) , or having a girl get her head chopped off- Maddoka Magica (that one was kind of messed up since it was entirely marketed as an actually kid-friendly "magical girl anime" when it's actually almost like The Exorcist of anime made by the same obviously very twisted team that made Saya No Uta, thankfully I wasn't a kid and had not been spolied but was told what to expect. Remember half the stuff made by Marvel except for the couple rate R titles are kids movies as far as IM concerned. And none excepto Logan is even sligtly close to a solid 9-10/10 action movie. There's no Marvel movies like "Primer" so if I were to up my standards to "actually good" movies most titles here I'd considered adequate at best. As far as animated art (any movie or show, drawn or not) American made movies and shows (drawn or not) only make up a third at most of all animated art globally even though America makes the most, there's actually almost no Spain original movie I've seen thus far that hasn't been than than 99% of American animated art. Pan's Labyrinth, Perfume, the original movie that Vanilla Skies is based on (forgot title), that one movie with Penelope Cruz IN Spanish.... even the original "Let the right one in" (Russian I think) is out the ball park. There's Animes back to back I can name at the same level or higher. If you haven't watched, you probably should find a few titles like "Grave of the Fireflies", Attack on Titan, Akira, Ghost in The Shell, ect cause your opinion here is.. pretty lame
That sounds like a great idea and I can't wait to see what's to come
I think you would like the Daredevil series
I didn't connect with as many Marvel movies and shows personally. But years ago I was looking at the chronological Marvel list and decided to give Daredevil a shot.. i was not let down! Then Jessica Jones season 1, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. I think that says something. They hold up on their own. I loved the atmosphere, and the acting is solid. I'm not as critical as most, or even Mrboyd would be but i agree ;)
I am 110% with you Sir! I just hope The Godfather is up for a Saturday night movie soon!!! Peace
Sounds like a fair plan, cant wait to finish off all the other non-super hero stuff mainly becuz i get to see movies for the first time as well with ya. Love your reactions and the way you think and process it! Also I ask again since that incident you had a few months ago and changed the process, we lost 2k and 4k quality options except for some uploads here and there with it. Any reason for it? i just hate the blurry 1080p look on my 1440p monitor lmaoo.
I had to change the hosting to Vimeo because Patreon won't give me enough storage. Vimeo doesn't have that many upload options unless I record with the Black Magic cameras that would cause an issues for the editing later because the files are so huge. I'm working on it but the only fix I can think of is going to set me back several thousands. I'm trying to research alternatives right now
Oh, and do some more scary movies! Love when you do those!
I love this! I originally voted Marvel and then immediately regretted it lol!
Harry Potter!!
You're probably referring to fantastic beasts but in case you didn't know. He has already done all HP movies.
I never saw Loki and I enjoyed DP3, didn’t even know it had a tie to it and it seems irrelevant
Same. Loki is probably great but we would have to wait another 6 months for DP&W
You've already seen the last 'X-Men' movie as far as Fox X-Men series goes, Deadpool 3 (Deadpool and Wolverine) is actually an MCU movie and you should put that off 'til you've watched more of the rest of both the non-Disney Marvel movies (The Fantastic 4 series, Spider Man, Blade... not necessarily in that order.) And yeah, a good idea with Loki and Wandavision especially would be to set-up and binge-watch multiple episodes at a time... enough episodes to equal the run-time of a movie.
Again I Disagree, I'll respect your opinion. Like before its all Inconsequential.
Not all Marvel projects are created equal. Loki is amazing and essential. Wandavision is important. And needs to be seen before the last dr strange, which is a banger. The last Spider-Man is dope as fuck. And What if..? Is my favorite. I think you’ll really like. And a great way to do it, would be to knock out 3-4 episodes per Monday. If you do one at a time, it will just stretch it out toooooo far. Guardians 3 is also fucking awesome. Just my opinion.
If I'm being honest your love of the Loki show is how I might be for the punisher show. I want it but I also want more movies. Normally he does two movies and then three shows. Marvel Mondays have been movies.
OK by me. I'm mostly here for Better Call Saul and now The Sopranos.
And eventually, Shogun (I hope)
Sounds like a plan. Looking forward to your reactions to the hobbit movies, and fantastic beasts (harry potter).
Honestly I don't think I'll be staying subscribed. You're going to be getting into Marvel TV shows, but simultaneously going to be releasing even less? Sounds disjointed and frustrating to follow, how many months will it take to finish a single show?
I'm going to release the same. Or more. Either I add another day for marvel shows or I'll do that instead of a Marvel movie that I am going to mix with sagas that I haven't finished for Mondays.
How do you request/recommend movies or tv shows? I know a lot of people have requested The Big Short and tv shows like LOST and Death Note but i haven't seen any polls or reactions. I have no interest in MCU movies lol.
Tv shows are chosen by polls when I have an open spot
Sounds fair.
Thanos would approve.
lol
I'm all for cutting down on Super Hero movies. I stopped watching them in the movie theater for a reason. I've enjoyed most of the reactions but I finally reached my fatigue point. Just not interested. The Penguin is the only super hero adjacent content I wouldn't mind seeing a reaction to. And that wouldn't work because people would want you to watch 47 DC movies before starting the Penguin even though it is 100% stand alone. You don't need to even know a single thing about the Batman universe to watch it.
So happy you are alternating and giving marvel a break every second week at least, I love your reactions to other types of movies a lot more. Still enjoyed the superhero journey but love your reactions to gritty thrillers, dramas and horrors, along with action etc.. like can’t wait for Face/off, A few good men and training day get a watch, you’ll love all 3, 100% 🙌
Would be dope to continue the insidious movies too! You reacted to part 1 already but the rest are pretty good
They are on the list to continue
Yes agree with everything you’ve said there bro. Watch Deadpool and wolverine on Monday despite what some may say in the comments here. I have not seen any of Loki or wandavision and it didn’t decrease my enjoyment of the film one bit. You’ll still find it highly entertaining no doubt. Watching all that just to catch a few references in DP3 is not worth it in my opinion, just watch that on Monday then start alternating the week after like you said.
Loki season 1 isn't just one off references to Deadpool and Wolverine. It's integrated to the whole plot of the movie.
Good idea (would love to see Matrix 2 & 3 here), dont do DP3 tho unless you progress through Loki S1 first~
Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
He has already done lord of the rings. search for lotr. The Hobbit movies he hasn't seen yet.
By finish the X-Men movies do you mean DP3 cuz no you should just add that one to the MCU pile based on release order.
DP3
That is fair and well rounded. I am hoping one day Yellowstone will get thrown in the mix. Fingers crossed! :)
i voted for Marvel at first cuz i enjoy Loki but dont enjoy Wanda vision . After watching * oh brother where art thou * your reaction was soo gold knowing the marvel series will take over a year of your time i just had to vote for something new. your reaction to other none Superhero movies is just golden , again i love this outcome i was torn from picking this way my indecisiveness wont get in the way
Fair play.
Love the idea of altenating, keeps everyone happy and im sure we dont mind waiting the extra week don't worry! Cant wait for you to jump into wandavision, loki and what if!
I like this idea of alternating on Mondays. But before you watch Deadpool and Wolverine, there are other Marvel things you should watch. Most importantly Loki season 1, among the others.
Good Move, hopefully you can do the remaining Chris Nolan movies along with the other incomplete series of movies.
That's a balanced way of doin it
I think it's a good move
