Bach means creek in German. So fording a river could be meant.

Thanks Denys, great summary. Do me a favour some time ! As a fellow pilot, the TU 95 three-engine failure on takeoff a few weeks back...??? Bad load of sub-grade fuel do you think? In all my years I have never had 3 engines quit

Thanks again Denys. How long will it be before the Russian high command gets to understand the truth?

They wage a constant war against truth (as all fascists do).

Proposal: An Airborne Backup to Starlink A network of high-altitude drones and balloons could provide regional communications and location-based information when Starlink is unavailable. Platforms would relay data and combine time-synchronized observations to improve coverage and cross-check information. Potential capabilities include communications, mapping, tracking moving objects, guidance and navigation support for military and civilian transport and search-and-rescue. Internet access would require an independent connection to the wider network. Range and accuracy would depend on the equipment, conditions and testing. Multiple platforms could improve reliability, but shared positioning errors, weather, interference and coverage gaps would remain concerns. The underlying technologies exist. The main challenge is combining them into a dependable, affordable service. This is a plausible regional backup, with performance that must be demonstrated before it could be treated as a replacement for Starlink.

Ukraine is already doing some of that but as you say it doesn’t replace Starlink.
