That's how all the big fires in California started.
2) If you use your bike for getting to work etc then yeah, it is to hot to ride at the "prescribed" times; however in June, July on a Saturday mornig I ride out at 5 or 6 in the morning, and after a relatively cool 300 -400k I can be home by lunchtime...great roads starting about 1/2 hour from where I live....
1) one doesn't need a Club/ other people to enjoy motorcycling
As the saying goes: Love what you do, and do what you love. πβ₯οΈπ
Great day to ride your bike .. In Australia we have 40+ degrees ... nice way to cool down except for the flies that hit your visor . When the wind blows it is hot and dry as it blows from central Australian desert. Road a Kawasaki 1300 then migrated to an Indian and a Triumph
Riding motorbikes is such a great feeling of freedom. Glad to hear your stories about the riding days on the worse motorbikes when you were a poor student! Sometimes those days without lots of money were even more fun. And when it is time to leave any group, listen to your inner voice and follow your new directions. You need to be happy with people you spend time with.
Great mike in spite of the wind. Missing my Triumph T21. Sold 59 years ago.π‘
Diurnal wind can sudenly blow. Bandidos is BAD!

Time for a good shower!
What kind of bike to your ideal? A Great aayvto get around!
I totally get what you are saying about riding in the heat. I've been riding for over 50 years and yes I have a PPL too. I'm finding that my maximum riding temperature is about 32C. I live in Spain now and too many days in Summer are hotter than that. I've always been into the fastest thing I could afford, at least until my move from the US to Spain. But when I got older I came to realize that the track is the place to go fast. Too many of the younger guys haven't learned that lesson yet and too many of the older guys are boring to ride with. So I ride alone and I'm happy to do so.
I ride solo too Denys
