We've ben sold for years that AI = artificial intelligence, so far my experience is the reality AI = artificial ignorance. Almost daily I read about AI making critical errors. This is because it tends to search the internet which is full of incorect information, errors and lies. AI unlike most humans AI cannot differentiatet between truth and lies.

I worked my way up from picking up cigarettes butts, too scrubbing long surgeries at the hospital near me. I started in house keeping ,then to surgical supplies I got a job as a instrument tech in the OR . Then back to school to become a surgical nurse. Now retired. If I didn't joined the marines and gotten hurt I wouldn't have had a easier retirement But I have a ton of pain from the injuries But the hospital retirement is horrible and if I didn't put money in 401 k I would have been really struggling. Retirement comfortable is more important than the check while you're young

You wrapped things up nicely by pointing out that to be successful you need to take some risks at some point. That has always been true and applies to all areas of our lives.

People go to college to learn how to learn independently of teachers. Colleges and universities will continue even with AI available. Everything IS changing except humans.
