This is the first time in fifty years that the pool turning green was front page news. Which tells me that someone responsible for the routine chemical maintenance of the pool messed up. Or it’s a CONSPIRACY OF THE RADICAL LEFT TO OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT.

People who either never had/have a pool or haven't worked in the pool industry can't fathom, what effort is needed to keep a pool clean and clear, especially when outside temperatures are high and birds are doing things in the water - algae are everywhere and they spread exponentially. So, all the money spent on this pond was futile expenditure, no sabotage to be seen here... but the radical left is even poisoning holy water in front of holy monuments just to make Dirty Donnie look bad! Really?

I once did holiday maintenance for a small pool: you have to put a lot of chloride and chemicals and pump and filter all the time: otherwise algea will just be there. The natural color is green. The only way to escape this is to not have a pool.

Doesn't need to be exposed to air. We've got a water dispenser at my church with a bottle that is in direct sunlight part of the day. It too grew green algae! We get them filled from an osmosis system locally. Solution? I made a cover for the bottle, problem solved! Hope the Mad King tries my solution. He could cover it with the drop clothes he's using to hide his missing name on the Kenedy Center!
