Iran Deal

I fully share this analysis and I want to add my five cents to it: First, we must be aware, that we are not talking about a peace deal, but just about a measly one and a half pages, non-binding MoU where usually the WHEREASes consume at least half of the used paper . Secondly, 9 of 10 signed MoUs remain what they are and do not transform into binding agreements or contracts respectively. Third and finally, the whole show ended up in this self-created mess and the winner is the one, who does not need to care about elections, angry allies and/or the wellbeing of his own populace, i.e. the one who can negotiate without less pressure. For Trump, everyday not being able to pull out, the pressure is increasing (Mid-Terms!) and Iran is using this leverage very cleverly. Epic Fury didn't improve the situation we had before Trump cancelled the JPCOA in 2018, we have more hate and desperation in the region, huge losses both in people and in infrastructure and we have a distorted world economy for another one to two years. Amateurs at work!

Trump and his administration are a joke. Most of us here in the USA are appalled and dismayed that this clown show continues day after day

Trump doesn't have anything but he's selling yet another empty framework to talk about having talks. Israel doesn't do what Trump wants.

The blame is Trumpyman-liar’s, king of fools. Look upon his works, Ye MAGAts, and despair. Netanyahu masterfully wagged the dog.

543 Thanks to this peace, however fragile, Europe may be more inclined to provide aid to Ukraine and try to draw the US more into the issue. Furthermore, it would be wise to show Turkish leader Erdogan that Russia should not be allowed to control too large a portion of the Black Sea. It is better for the balance to be between three powers—Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine—rather than just two, with Turkey naturally retaining its share of the coastline. What would the Ukrainians think of this?

Price of oil has dropped dramatically. Iran knows to continue the conflict will end with their oil fields destroyed. They are totally vulnerable. Obama was a fool to give Iran that amount of money without any real concessions.
