Can we count Little Shop of Horrors as a Halloween movie? 🤣🌱

i know you guys aren’t that into into horror movies, but i think it would be so cool to watch the IT movie series together, they have a lot of comedy, too 🎈

The origial Hocus Pocus is great!

A Quiet Place for the sound design alone!!! It was one of the best cinema experiences I’ve ever had, everyone in the theatre was trying to be soo quiet, haha. Also, beautiful family story, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are incredible together.

There’s a series called Swarm written by Donald Glover. It’s a 7 episode series about Stan culture. It’s dark but I highly recommend it because it relates to the channel

I agree with some people above. I’m not super into like real horror scary. But some that I like to watch every year would be Casper, Casper and Wendy, the Addams, family, Addams, family values, Van Helsing, either of them. The one with Hugh Jackman is particularly terrible, which makes it hilarious. 😂 Scooby Doo franchise, Zombieland franchise. Oooh and the new Frankenstein is excellent! Also something like Sweeney Todd could be nice for the musical category.

Oh Sinners would be the perfect choice for this channel!!

I feel like Hocus Pocus needs to be added. Just saying.

Not a huge scary movie fan but Sinners is one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. The way they incorporate music to fuel the story is amazing! Ryan Coogler is doing great things. Also Halloweentown is fun 😊

If you genuinely want a whimsical fun Halloween feeling Halloween movie night then watch Halloweentown given that it’s the only actual Halloween movie on the list. I get tbe obsession hype but it’s more a scary movie night film than a fun Halloween movie night. Coraline is more an October movie night than movie Halloween specifically but the music if fun. Halloweentown is what I watch every year on Halloween without fail and the vibe and soundtrack genuinely put me in the Halloween spirit immediately.

Monster House, Coraline, and It are my favorites!!!!

These are all great options, but this is my petition for everyone to vote more for A Quiet Place because it makes so much sense for them!! Sound? Frequencies? Noise? Music!!!! It’s the movie that’s the most up their alley!! And they love John Krasinski! That being said, I will enjoy any of the movies they end up watching LOL

Native Newyorker · September 17, 2026

I feel like Coraline and Halloweetown are also up their alley because of the iconic soundtracks that do so much for the films.

Hocus Pocus

Twitches is a good option! A lot of these are adult scary, I want more kid scary lol! Like Monster House still scares me as an adult 👀

You guys would adore the music in Coraline!

C
Chi · September 17, 2026

If you guys haven't seen it yet, I recommend "Nope" (dir. Jordan Peele)! It's also less of a traditional horror movie imo. Oh and the score is pretty good if I recall correctly

N
Nevy · September 17, 2026

With the musical aspect and the score, I think Sinners is right up the Twerk Ethic alley. Such a beautiful movie
