Burlesque? haha
Yes! I came to comment this! Christina Aguilera and Cher are *chef's kiss*
you guys should do Hamilton!!! 🖤🫶
They did it a couple years ago. Search it! 🙂
Into the Woods, Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, and not a conventional musical, but the movie Yesteryear is filled with the music of the Beatles and is great.
ugh these are all sooooo goooood but i have to vote Wicked: For Good bc you guys have to finish the story already!! hopefully you’ll remember what happened in the first half whenever you get to watching For Good ♡
I still posit: Last 5 Years, and Nine: The Musical (Fergie has a FANTASTIC song)
please check out tick, tick ...boom! i think the music style will be right up your alley. no spoilers but for lin-manual miranda's directorial debut there are really awesome music and sound editing choices that create such an emotional look into the life of a struggling artist trying to survive new york in the late eighties/ early nineties. not enough people hype this particular movie up. also ...spiderman trained for a whole ass year to do the lead role justice.
I cannot recommend tick tick boom enough
Omg I love Dreamgirls ❤️
If yall do Annie please do the Jamie Foxx version
Submitting Hairspray, Rodger’s and Hammerstein Cinderella, Into the Woods
I’m seconding the R&H Cinderella vote!
Les Miserables plllllleeeaassee its incredible
ANNIE FOR TIM CURRY 💖🙏🏽😭
Don't even know what to vote for if I can't vote for Hadestown. 😅 Not only is it the best, I just KNOW you two are going to really like the music/instrumentation of that show in particular. Please have it on the next poll!
In the heights is good, tik tik boom is underrated
My Fair Lady please
hadestown pretty please!!!
Phantom of the Opera!!!!
Definitely. The movie version wasn't bad, but it doesn't beat the live performance. I've seen it live 2 times.
Hugh Jackmans Oklahoma!
you guys absolutely need to check out The Color Purple (2023)….its simply incredible!!!!
Have been anxiously hoping for Tick tick boom 😭
Hard not voting for all of these!
Epic: The Musical!
In honor of Tim Curry Rocky Horror Picture Show!
could I also suggest for the future "EPIC the Musical" it's AMAZING!
I would like to recommend, Epic the Musical. It's not traditional musical yet. But it's been announced that Jerry Bruckheimer is developing an animated feature film adaptation. There is an official concept Album on the creator's YouTube channel. His name is Jorge Rivera-Herrnans. You can also find many animations for each song with a quick search.
Yes! I feel that they would be so impressed by the musicality of Epic not just the lyrics
Rocky Horror!
Just adding another HADESTOWN comment in here!!!
Wicked for good oh my god I love. But like literally any to be fair love them all
OMG YESSS!! Also don’t mind me I’ll be over here voting for all of them lol
I know 9 to 5 technically a musical but please
OMG I thought you guys already did DreamGirls! I cannot believe this, I was just thinking about it!
After tim curry, please little shop of horrors
spielberg west side story for me. i think rachel and mike are just amazing
I second all the Hadestown comments!! The pro shot just released for rent on streaming services! I’ve seen it 6 times in person so safe to say it’s my favorite musical probably ever 🫶🫶
All of the above!! 😆 I'm voting for RENT and then Tick Tick Boom! for starters 💜✨️
Rocky Horror Picture Show for obvious reasons!
The way I ran over here!!!! I am literally begging you to watch In The Heights
SAAAAAME. It was my submission and I’ve been patiently waiting for months.
Also I really need to see them lose it over Sweeney Todd, lol
If and when yall do West Side Story, please for THE LOVE OF GOD do the 1961 version and not the Spielberg version. As much as i love him and the cast, it doesn’t hold a candle to the 1961 Oscar winning one.
YES YES YES YES YES
Definitely need Hadestown added on the next poll
Dreamgirls first and foremost!
Annie needs to be 1982 OG with Carol Burnett and Tim Curry because duh
AHHHH WEST SIDE STORY LOVE
Good list, lots I'd love to watch!!
This is my WHEELHOUSE!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼♥️
MAMMA MIA is my lifeeee
But…. Hadestown is also an excellent option… the live cast movie just came out on prime!
I really wish Hadestown was an option! It sooooo good
