the way most of yall reactors act like aang was this perfect avatar fries me lol even as an adult we saw how narrow minded he can be when a threat is right in front of him (i'm talking about the new movie) and i'm not saying korra is perfect but she accomplished what aang couldn't n that was non benders n benders living in peace n brought back air bending. Aang did the ground work but she had to deal with the consequences just like roku too aang also the avatar's are not suppose to know who thy are until age 16. korra was just special. All i'm saying is aang isn't perfect his kids are proof of that n if you rewatch the show alot of people will see the amount of dumb shit he did

All I'm saying is the trial used to be done at the age of 16 when they weren't actually a milk drinking child and had a somewhat functional brain and could understand the weight of the responsibility of being the Avatar Aang's monk upbringing and Gyatso's teachings helped him speed that up but even he wasn't *ready* for the responsibility he just understood it

The anomaly is basically the root chakra dealing with survival and is blocked by fear. Nisha was rejected by it due to fear but Pavi was able deal with it spiritually. Before Nisha was rejected, the anomaly did show her a physical task of how she could unlock it

i feel like people are forgetting that kuvira tried to make a power source that gave off the exact same energy coming from the pipes she was tearing down in republic city. i recon she went on an expedition and came back to this energy being used to power republic city and they refused to tear it all down so she did it by force and that caused the cataclysm. (just my theory)
