Musical Symbolism in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Here's the newest video! I'm really happy with it. It's definitely the least theoretically dense video I've made all year but I think it showcases well how much thought and effort went into writing the game's soundtrack. Game of the Year is gonna be a tough title to win in 2025 with all the stiff competition but I'm personally rooting for Clair Obscur! Anyway, enjoy the video!

Ive made videos about the art of Expedition 33, learned to play violin because of it, but I never noticed that Une Vie a T'aimer is doubling the voices of the SAME vocalist instead of having the male and female singing together. That is wild. A brilliant detail that makes the most emotional song even more powerful. Thank you!
My next video is about a different symbolism in that song. It has to do with distance :) Them building an encyclopedia for the world and making all the arts build off it is leaving us with just oceans of connections to explore
Been looking forward to this video ever since I played through the game! (You're wrong about Renoir though. Fight me 😉)
