A bit sad to see the objections to the Rowling video, though I understand it. In my opinion, it's way too fun seeing an educated takedown of something you despise. The Greatest Showman is one of my least favorite movies, but I've watched Jenny's video ripping into it many times! Would be a hoot to see it with the Lifetime doc.
Agreed wholeheartedly. I understand those who don't want to engage with JKR stuff. Personally, I'm still so mad at her since HP meant so much to me much of my life that mocking her is a catharsis. Considering these are Patreon only and privated, it's not exactly calling a lot of attention to JKR otherwise.

Ok, I have a very evil hot take about David Cronenberg: I'm not a big fan of The fly. I mean don't get me wrong, Jeff Goldblum is great and it is technically very well made but the whole AIDS allegory felt really on the nose like there's literally one moment where one character says: "What if his Fly disease spreads fast?? You've had sex with him, you could be infected!!". Not to mention that there's this really annoying character that's the boss and the ex of the female lead and he just keeps stalking and harassing her and suddenly in the end you're forced to feel sad for the guy. I'm sorry The Fly just felt really goofy to me. I guess I'm not really crazy about his body horror movies that much. Idk, I liked Videodrome ok, but The Brood felt like it was made by Randy Moore. I just like when his movies are more laid back I guess. I really like The Dead Zone, Naked Lunch, and History Of Violence. And Dead Ringers is a really great movie! People consider it horror but it feels more like watching a gothic drama play at a Broadway theater than horror, except if cloning was possible because Jeremy Irons plays 2 emotionally immature twins lol. If you don't have a serious phobia from doctors then I highly recommend that movie. The trailer for the JKR lifetime horror movie looks scarier tho, I don't think I'm gonna sleep tonight lol.

It doesn't look like it will win but I'd love to just shoot the breeze about the state of Disney parks changes post covid with Jenny. I'm trying not to be hyperbolic constantly about parks changes but the stripping of perks from WDW hotels and surge pricing on Fastpasses has really raised my eyebrows.

BTW, I really miss the MLP song video. I understand needing to take down things that had personal info in them because of pervs. A long time ago when I was searching for all things Jenny I found FiW and wanted to understand more about it and I stumbled into some web site where people were commenting and it almost literally made me sick. But that video had no personal stuff and although it is silly, I don't know it just cheers me up when I'm feeling depressed. Would love to see it back or if there is a link to it somewhere else if someone could post that.
I have no intention of seeing the next Fantastic Beasts movie but I saw something interesting about it on the Screen Junkies site recently: they are recasting Johnny Depp! And from what I gathered they are doing it almost exactly as Jenny suggested in her script doctor video, essentially using some magic thing to say he changed his appearance. From horse racing in Star Wars to (alas) Ray being a Palpatine and now this!

As one of the many trans Harry Potter fans that JKR decided to turn her back on, I would just suggest a lot of caution in handling any content pertaining to her.. I know Jenny doesn't support any of her transphobic views but unless it goes straight up Harriet Porber I think there's still significant risk for a lot of discomfort and just bad feelings for a lot of viewers.

There are a lot of good options this month! Jenny ranking EVERY pokemon would be fun (as someone noted above, with 898 pokemon this would be *some* feat). I was a big fan of the original off brand movie review ramble, so a Halloween themed version seems enticing. Squishmallow movie reenactment is surreal enough to make me wish I could visit whatever alternate timeline where this wins so I could see the result. And of course I shall always vote for Nancy Drew. I hereby foretell that someday, *someday* it shall win!
