Bonus: Disney Vlog
A vlog of a day at disneyland was the winning topic pre-pandemic, but it had to shift to the runner-up. So recently I went to the park with my sister and filmed this as a bonus vid!

I’ve never been to Disney but it seems like when you go, you’ll spend most of your time there waiting in lines. I’d still really like to go, but I can see me simply walking around, enjoying the views.
I just got around to watching this. Something is so wild to me about that one park employee complimenting Jenny with the specific phrase "I love your content!" instead of like... "I love your videos", or 'I think you're really funny" or whatever.
Hey, this is a bit random and may be old news, but I wanted to make sure that you were alerted to the existence of the 1987 "Captain Eeyore" video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbPeEXF-gmE
Your theme park videos are so fun! I was never into theme parks because of a fear of roller coasters/motion sickness - I never realized how much fun whimsical stuff was out there.
You can go to a disney park, not ride anything, and still have an amazing time. The shops, the food, the design! I go because I love the attention to detail and engineering. If you're into people watching, you can just sit on different benches and have an incredible time. And depending on how bad your motion sickness is, there are definitely treatments you can use, but there are plenty of rides that have no motion at all! Haunted Mansion, any of the boat rides, Figment, etc!
Includes one of my favorite things in someone judging the answer to a hypothetical question. Jenny: What haunted ride would you like to explore? Sister: Haunted Mansion Jenny: You are wrong and ghosts will eat you
The conflict between Jenny trying to be courteous to a cast member and her utter disgust at having to wait 45 minutes to ride the train 😅
Jenny: I am a people and i wish to be moved
Crazy you had such a hard time getting on rides! I went twice at the end of June and the longest line I waited in was 45 minutes for Space Mountain. No line for the Avangers Campus either!
This brought me a lot of joy! I haven't been to any Disney Park in so long, and it hit me in the nostalgic feels to watch this. Thank you for all you do!
I LOVE when you make content with your sister and I know it is an unreasonable request but I would 100% listen to a weekly/monthly podcast consisting of the conversations you have in line for theme parks.
A lot of this was very familiar as I went there in May. I thought 25% capacity meant it was easy to get on rides but in reality it was the worst time I've ever had there in terms of trying to get on rides. I don't know why covid means you get rid of fast pass forcing people into big lines. Instead it should be fast pass only letting people disperse more. By the way, I was one of the people let into the secret entrance to Haunted Mansion. I was disappointed honestly as it just takes you straight to the omnimover so you completely miss out on the elevator and study.
I love the rainbow dress!!!
I love all the shots of strangers staring directly into the camera lens
that person who recognized you kind of looked like you lol
Jenny variant from the continued-in-Disneyland-instead-of-pursuing-YouTube-fulltime timeline.
OMG 11,000 Patrons!!
Every time I check, the number is higher. Really happy for Jenny and us!
Cars land was such a mistake haha. That being aId i do love walking through it, specifically I really enjoy the colors and lighting.
ohhhhh im crying :( i still haven't been called back and seeing this made me realize how much i miss working there.... i really hope i can go back soon </3
"I never know what to say and then worry that I seemed rude" is me but with every social interaction lol.
My answer for the small world line challenge is Sonny Eclipse. If Disney ever does make a plush for him it’s very important to me that they have his miniature sized feet
Thank you for fulfilling my background desire to go on vacation.
How often do you get recognized like that when you visit Disney? Does it ever get overwhelming/uncomfortable?
The shakiness made it feel like a found footage movie like Cloverfield.
Me, listening to the Disney princess sidekick debate: "Jenny, say Angus! He isn't irritating like Pegasus, you will get to ride him, he doesn't talk in an annoying voice, you basically just get to keep this enormous bad ass horse forever!!" Jenny, probs thinking of McDonald's Apple Pie Trees: "Grandmother Willow 😈"
Also, is the MLP song video still available? I didn't see that in the list of the Patreon only videos. I know its just a silly little video but I really like it. When I'm in a bad mood it helps cheer me up.
Check the comments under the Master Ramble pinned post.
Is there anyway the Patreon only videos could enable saving to a Youtube playlist? I usually watch Youtube on my iPad now to go back and watch a Patreon only video I have to log into Patreon in Google and then go to the page in Patreon where the list of the Patreon only videos exist. It's not a big deal but if it were possible to put them in a Youtube playlist as before it would be just a bit more convenient.
people ruined it by putting them in public playlists so no. read comments up from here about it.
I guess I’d choose BB-8 or R2-D2 is my sidekick companion. Do they count? They’re not rideable, but they can launch things at you, like a snack when you get hungry, and they can watch for trouble in dangerous situations.
I'm just so confused that you're put off by 25 minutes wait time…I can't think of any ride in Paris that doesn't have at least that except around the parade / night time show 🙃 is california just that much better with wait times?
When fastpass existed I had honed my strategy for the Perfect Disney Day with all the rides you want & no waits over 15 minutes (just kind of by getting the timing/order of your fastpasses down, being flexible and doing small rides/snacking in between), so my sister and I have lost our line tolerance lol
The Line Challenges and ensuing banter between Jenny and her sister were great. Fun video!
I love how Lindsay is just like, hey look, a horse, and Jenny immediately recognizes the specific horse and refers to him by name
You know, I've always wanted to go to Disneyland. But I think I'll wait until people will be able to buy food normally again lol. Also Jenny, did you manage to eat anything else besides that lunch and the Popcorn or did you guys just had no choice but to eat some vloggers at the hunted mansion?
btw, Anybody else notice Randy Moore on line behind them muttering something about "catching up to those two French girls"?
Was this before or after the delta variant took off I'm curious if there more restrictions now 🤔
before, but they did not continue the restrictions. They went from this to lifting all the social distancing requirements, then lifting the outdoor mask mandate, and then the indoor mask mandate. Source - I accidentally went to disney 3 times last year, may, june and december, and saw firsthand each iteration of restrictions. Even in may with the mandatory vaccination, masking and distancing...I was still uncomfortable being around so many people.
I thought for sure Jenny's answer for the plush line challenge would be Sonny Eclipse.
Wait what did train lady say after "are you Jenny Nicholson?"
"I like your content" I think.
DisneyLand Apocalypse! Only Jenny can give such keen insight, having been on the other side of the ropes. And, despite the sadness of the current state of the world at large, DL still tries hard. It's touching to hear her words of admiration for and encouragement to her former colleagues. She knows of what she speaks...
Autopia is the most obvious choice to make a Cruella ride.
FINE.
I feel so grateful for the video! 😭😭😭😭 I have had such a hard week and Sunday is my day to clean and rest and this is PERFECT for this day! Thank you so much Jenny, this has made my month, no joke! ❤️❤️❤️
Start a podcast with your sister that's all about line challenges.
I think we all knew there was no chance Jenny was putting up with the Avengers Campus line. And if she had, I might not have known that the train ride has dinosaurs! Dang, the train goes harder than I expected.
I do think it's funny that we rejected the Marvel Land line out of hand and then ultimately waited almost as long for the train, but fwiw the spiderman ride does not look as good as the train
That was so good! I haven't been to Disneyland since I was a kid eons ago and now I want to go even more. And those line challenges were the best :D
They blocked Mater off because he's a bad car.
Shout outs to Katie
Not to detract but as a heads up to anyone who may be susceptible, because of my wimpy vestibular system I'm getting a bit of shakycam dizziness from this video :/
I like how this doubles as a teaser for the Evermore video
I was shouting “Aurora’s owl” at the screen, but Jenny got there god bless her
Oh man, a 42 minute bonus video! Cue feverously counting down the hours until I'm free to watch this lol.
I went to Disneyland on the 4th and we got into Avengers Campus no problem! Got to go on the new spider-man ride (and gotg of course), saw the dora milaje performances, and ate at the new ant-man place. It was pretty cool! Also the waits for food weren't too bad, you could go do other stuff and it would tell you when the food was ready (giving you a 10 minute window to pick it up).
I'm surprised with how full Disney is, it looks like a regular day as far as I've watched Disney vlogs (never actually visited).
The view of main street is considered suuuuper empty but in areas like fantasyland, adventureland it's a pretty normal level of crowding - maybe not for a busy summer day but at least for spring or fall. And they did have a cap on capacity so that goes to show how popular/physically tight those areas are
We are going to Disneyland tomorrow for our first visit since 2019 so this video is good timing! Thank you!
Wouldn't mind new vlog-style videos of you visiting various park! Sounds fun
Just out of curiosity, are you marking these as content for kids yourself? For whatever reason it means YouTube won't let me save it to Watch Later. Not a big deal, but it's a weird little quirk of YouTube.
Being child appropriate is one of the requirements for disabling the playlist feature, which was the only way to stop people putting the vids in public playlists :-/ most people were making private playlist but the honors system just wasn't working
best thing to see right after work >:)
Thank you for salvaging my weekend I was about to go watch Old at the movie theater :/
Noooooo don't do it 🚫👴🏻
Jenny you are the absolute best thanks so much for this!
This is good timing - I was just rewatching "If Rey is a Skywalker" 😁
Poor Lor San Tekka ☹️
