Fellow Patrons, I doubt I'll be changing anyone's mind this month, but for upcoming topic polls consider that the planned live action Barbie movie will be directed by Greta Gerwig, the writer/director of Lady Bird. You can get a primer on her work and her style from Wikipedia, IMDb, or some boring nerd like me. OR. You can get some preliminary info about Greta Gerwig from YouTuber Jenny Nicholson. Wouldn't that be a nice frame of mind to be in as you sit down for a Barbie movie? (If it ever gets made, RIP Hollywood)

Hunger games strategy is compelling in theory but I am worried it will start out "These are user submitted so I don't really have a great strategy but...."

I assume it's for the film and not the former First Lady. Will she fix the story? Critique it? Act it out? With spiders? Give us another conspiracy theory corkboard? I'm sure I'd be more inclined to vote for it, would that I possessed more details.

There's good variety in this month's poll! I ended up voting for more topics than I usually do. It isn't likely given the votes as they stand, but it would be intriguing to see what movie Jenny would pick if the classic noir film topic were to win.

the funny thing about these polls is that even if the thing that wins isnt something i wanted the ramble will still end up being 10/10
for me that was particularly true last month. never heard of the web comic series, checked it out and hated it for many the same reasons that jenny eventually criticized it for. that was quite the welcome surprise.
I really just wanna hear you talk about music you like... but poll after poll it becomes more and more clear that it just won't happen. 😔

The Twilight: The Musical & other cameos intrigues me since I only recently pledged - and did so because I discovered FiW and Twilight and wanted to get the bonus video of Jenny covering a pony song! (The rambles are a bonus too :D) If only I had the suggesting power I would ask where she learned to sing so well and whether she still sings as a private hobby.
I vote Lady Bird every month knowing it won’t win
This month we're lucky Jenny outlawed voting for meta-Rambles and combined topics, because that could have resulted in "Ranking Lady Bird & Anthropomorphic Car Movies," and that would turn Jenny into a car/bird-rater, and nobody should just be a car/bird-rater, because a car/bird-rater isn't enough -- you also need a gas tank and windshield wipers and an engine and wheels. If you're only a car/bird-rater, then you're a Bad Car.
