Brony preview
Here's a preview for my upcoming video which started off conceptually last year as only being about the last bronycon, and sort of grew into being about the entire brony fandom from start to finish.
I'm also excited to get to my 500K subscriber special, which has now been shot, but this one's taking precedence!

this video is exactly the length of time i need to bleach my sisters hair
As to the final question on the preview, my money is on "Yes, but Also..."
Jenny the cliffhanger I’m dying!
Okay... so I had some serious doubts about how interested I would be in this topic. But after this preview, I am hooked! But could you please ask Twilight Sparkle to stop staring at me...
If this were the internet's last video, it would be the right note to go out on.
That Cartoon Brew post is even more wild in retrospect. Imagine saying in 2010 that we were at the *end* of a golden age of TV animation.
The cliffhanger...noooo! Y u do dis?
At about the 9:37 mark I noticed the pony body pillow, and that coupled with a sudden awareness/recognition/appreciation of the unicorn hat-hood triggered a brief yet visceral episode of derealization
gotta say, the idea of a template for fan characters creating an explosion of fan content sure reminds me of another 2012 fandom juggernaut............ very good observation. looking forward to the rest of the vid!
What is the other 2012 fandom juggernaut?
Feeling especially pre-birthed.
I wasn't expecting this to be a brony anthropology documentary! And the preview ends on such a cliffhanger :D
The ending killed me
Jenny, I know you said you didn't watch the later seasons, but I've seen all but the final one (not on Netflix yet) because my 7yo son is a huge fan, and I'd recommend the episode where Patton Oswalt guests. Yeah, it's self-referential, but it has that "Parks and Rec Patton filibuster" energy that absolutely cracks me up.
Love Jenny's ability to get me interested in things I never knew anything about or didn't pay much attention to. Now I'm dying to see the rest of the vid especially after that ending :D
The 4Channer imitation was awesome! So. A query: if a "self-insert" into a 'Star Trek' fandom bit of something historically has been called by some a "Mary Sue", does that make a Brony self-insert a "Brony Brew"? (Thanks.... I'll see myself out.)
What a cliffhanger!
Another victory for Animal Topics!
Hooooo boy, giddy up!
appreciate the cliffhanger :D
the cut at the end is so perfect
"You might have some Applejacks left over" hahaha I really enjoyed the G4 show but the toys were kind of disappointing. I grew up with G3 so I'm biased towards it, but the new toys are just so... not-chunky and same-y looking. Good for my wallet though, otherwise I might have gotten back into collectiong ponies, haha.
The ending of this clip made me laugh more than anything else has for ages 😂
YOU END THE PREVIEW THERE, ARE YOU KIDDING
"I mean you might have some [spoiler redacted] left over" OH NO 😢
This is the best Christmas in July gift a kid could ask for
YESSSSS
