Just noticed that the preamble doesn't specify the 8th of What so if it were March then DDR still has a good chance here... 😉
If the Ramble Poll dates back to the days of East Germany, then -- Wait a minute, I don't think Jenny herself dates back to the days of East Germany.
Could we ever get a Book of Henry review?
"Item 1: There's a Hole in the Bucket"
Almost three hundred fewer total votes than last one?
It'll continue to tick up slowly despite the passing of the deadline, I suspect. Also, I don't know if I'm at all representative, but apparently I voted for six topics last time and only three this
I knew it was a long shot but I was just glad to see someone else acknowledge THX 1138 😁
i voted for it, though i know it has no chance.
Dark Ride ramble will be Jenny's magnum opus
Dark Dark Internet Ritual Ride Ramble!!!
A few months back Disney Animal Sidekicks was listed omitting the "Animal" bit, and this time it's missing the "Disney". Interesting symmetry. But yeah I'm rooting for Dream Dark Ride, even rescinded my vote from Most Overused Movie Tropes since it's the nearest competitor.
This month, Dr. Z's disciples are clearly angling for "Most Overrated Overused Over-quick Directors' Romantic Film Tropes," which would deliver a stunning 469 votes as of 2/5/2019.
Unrelated to the poll, I recently had to drop down to the $2 tier for financial reasons, but I'm still seeing this poll and the preview? Is there a delay before that change kicks in? I changed before February started, so I was surprised to get emails about these posts.
patreon didn't charge my account until the 5th, so maybe it was that delay?
Please talk about knotts berry farm! its my childhood park and no one talks about it!!! i went again recently and it was so much fun
omg if dream dark ride doesn’t win please put it on the poll next month
jenny dream dark ride ftw! or knott's berry farm.
Can I vote for Dream Darkride 10 times please?
It's a right of passage for ever cineaste to do a vicious takedown of Stanley Kubrick, so I'm hoping for the directors.
Unrelated to the poll, I just watched Matt Colville's D&D stream and he said you were at his office... any chance of a guest appearance on his show?
Just an idea (because it would be great to see it win!) but if re-suggested it may be worth rebranding the 'Sidekicks' text to “Ranking the Disney Sidekicks.” Ranking = drama! 🎭 Tough to get a win in a crowded field like that above so best to try & seize any slight available advantage...😄
What a great set of topics. Good job, Highest Fathomers! 😁👍👏
Gotta go with Knott's!!!
Dark Ride Design all the way!
Jenny have you seen any Star Wars prequel memes?
Related question: does Jenny have the high ground?
I had to write a paper on THX-1138 for a Star Wars course in college (yes). That involved watching it way too many times and I honestly don’t want to think about that film ever again
