My girlfriend is the mother of a severely autistic daughter who has the rare subtype of always being under-stimulated. The girl's father was an alcoholic who couldn't be trusted to watch the kids, which left her unable to work, because even though her daughter was 8, her cognitive age was around 2 or 3. What ended up happening was because of her nonstop screaming day in and day out, even late into the night, my gf would become exhausted and doze off. Well, the father of course wasn't watching the kids at all, so the daughter, who's as tall and physically capable as an 8 year old would be, would run off from the house to seek out more stimulation through just running about. It got so bad to a point where her specialists recommended 24hr care at a facility. It's a sad reality but special needs children can be incredibly hard to watch out for depending on their particular manifestation if whatever their underlying condition is. My point being; it doesn't surprise me that a special needs person's caretaker wasn't present. If they're the only person caring for them and the special needs person is anything like my gf's one daughter, then they could've been running on empty and dozed off somewhere

Customer service is anger management at its finest. I’m in the procurement field, and even when there’s a disagreement with a client and/or customer, it still has to come across as professional. Period. If it goes too far you report it. Sad to say even being assaulted companies would rather you get beat up 🤕 lol it’s just the truth.
