I agree with Joe and Ransom, I’m a single parent who has prioritized my children. I work at Amazon overnight Sunday-Wednesday. So I can get them back and forth to school, show up for all events and off on the weekends to take them to the movies, amusement park etc. I moved in an area where the school district is better. But I moved in an apartment that might not have all the desired amenities but are safe and comfortable for my income. Same with my car, I know to a lot of people that’s considered settling. But my children will never be able to say I wasn’t present and that’s what matters most.
