I wonder if this situation has less to do with Parks being so phenomenal (which he is), but more so that he has it set up in a way that isn’t conventional, and so even a sound engineer wouldn’t be able to replicate it because Parks does it in a non-formulaic way.
Thats exactly what it is lol. It sounds like he cant figure out the headphone mix but it cant be that simple. I bet there’s very particular project settings that Parks uses, especially with different mic and line inputs, and it took him a while to get it together. A template would have solved all of this lol.
