The show relies on the chemistry between the cast, cemented by Joe. Without Joe, there's nothing they could offer in the way of entertainment. The most honest thing Ice said was that he's a C. If he left the pod tomorrow, no one would miss him. That might be harsh but it's the truth. There are very few voices that people need to hear from. Joe is one of them. The other voices... Not so much.
