First look at the Fantasy project: Entropy – The Struggle Of Fate

I was debating on when would be the appropriate time to share the cover and more info on the Fantasy Project. At first, I thought next month would be the best timeframe since I aim to release the first version in October, but next month is going to be the release of The Edge Of, so I didn't want any of the projects to cannibalize each other's promo or whatever.

So yeah, I guess we're going to start with the title. I decided to call it Entropy. It has an actual story reason for it, even though the word contains the letter NTR. I'm unsure if I'm going to highlight that. Seems a bit cringe, but then again, it's there… so…

I didn't think too much about it, but I guess I should write a small synopsis as well?

After a failed attack on the Frainnan village, Varnel is promptly captured by the enemy chief. Understanding his role in the ceremony, he makes peace with his fate, only for the chief to spare his life and keep him as a prisoner. For a reason or another, the Frainnan tries to assimilate him in their way of life.

Slowly but surely, Varnel learns trust, friendship… and love. That is until an anomaly appears, threatening all life of the continent.

I apologize if this is not as clear as it could be. I wasn't really planning on writing a synopsis right now so I just tried to condense information without giving too much away. I don't think this is going to be the actual synopsis of the game, but who knows? I tend to be lazy.

As you can see, it doesn't really sound like a NTR. The whole prologue has always been supposed to stand as its own thing. I know a lot of you guys, when thinking about Fantasy and NTR, have a very specific idea in mind, but I would tell you to dispense with those ideas, probably. For better or for worse, I didn't follow exactly the conventional route. I mean the current cover doesn't portray NTR at all either.

That might be kind of the point though, who knows?

I hired someone for the GUI. I already received it and I already coded the whole menu. There are a few things missing though. The cover is not animated yet. And I still don't have the title art.

I also received the Japanese translation two days ago. If I weren't so busy, I would be shopping for a voice actress. I want both girls to have a voice actress.

I don't have much else to say for right now. If my plan goes as planned, The Edge Of will release by the end of September, and the release of the first version of Entropy will be the very next month, in October. But obviously all kinds of things might happen. So I'm not promising anything. I'll try to make it happen. This is after very stressful and very exciting to me.
