Defensively this looks neat but looking at the green bars it looks like the MC won't get a chance to recover fast enough if they block which could make for some very awkward fights .

He doesn't stand a chance against her yet. He's just a "drifter off the road" who picked up a stick for the first time, so defeating her isn't the goal for now. Don't worry, it will be playable.
