I joined your Patreon to complain about the fucking censor beep on Nebula. NEBULA. A PLATFORM BY CREATORS FOR CREATORS where this goddamned noise does not need to follow us. That annoying-ass BEEEEEEP broadcasters came up with at the dawn of television because it was cheap and easy to have someone press a button and drown out whatever had just been said on a live broadcast. It hurts my goddamned autistic ADHD brain. If something needs to be censored for whatever reason, please just attenuate the sound. Mute it. Duck the audio. Remove the word. Fucking anything but the beep. Because once I hear that fucking thing, I don't hear another word you say. My brain has left the video. We're investigating the beep now. It is such an unbelievably tiny, pedantic thing that absolutely does not fucking matter, except apparently my brain has decided that it matters more than whatever the video was actually about. Is it like this for all your other videos on Nebula? Because if so... Fuck me. Also, tell you what: if you manage to kill the fucking beep for a reasonably consistent period of time, I'll bump myself up to your $500 tier for a bit just for the lulz, maybe go so far as to fly out to NYC for the smallest possible amount of a hair trim, partly to reward some really fucking constructive accessibility improvement for autists and ADHDers. I promise I'm more serious about that than I should be, which somehow makes this whole complaint even fucking stupider... but this is the war my brain decided to wage today! If I wanted the fucking censored version, I'd watch it on YouTube like the plebeian I am. Fuck that beep. Disclaimer: Profanity used excessively and intentionally for comedic effect. Irrational hatred of the fucking beep remains entirely genuine. Climate Town & Not Just Bikes are fucking fabulous, and I should have joined sooner. Much love.

Love the NJB collab! 🚲Been bike commuting for 5 years now, the good times have been great for my mental health, but the bad times have motivated me to get more active in activism against climate change and for urbanism. It's not the bicycle's fault that biking to work in America sucks, it's 100% the fault of car culture and lack of infrastructure.
