No worries here, man. I have been watching your videos since 2022, and I completely understand why you bring up the disturbing animal facts. I know how much you love animals because I love them too. I always hear about people messing around with dangerous animals and suffering the very real, severe consequences of making such a bad decision. I love your content because of a saying on the internet that I don’t like: “If not friend, why friend shaped?”. Because then people tend to forget that something like a grizzly bear or a crocodile or tiger etc is a friendly animal before they lose an arm and get a very expensive trip to the hospital over it. Yeah, your content is interesting, entertaining and educational, but I also genuinely believe that your videos might actually be saving people’s lives. And animals lives too. Because whenever a wild animal attacks a person, it’s likely to get put down. Even if the human is to blame. Also much respect to you for being open minded enough to see it through professional researchers eyes who might see things differently than you do and may get annoyed by the animals reputation through the internet. Not everyone these days is willing to do that. Anyways, sorry for the super long paragraph. Just dropping my honest two cents.

really interesting duality! I think you do great, i definitely get annoyed when animals are demonized/misrepresented and I never get that feeling from your channel. I feel like you respect the reality of nature, it's fascinating, sometimes brutal, and often beautiful. To me you seem deeply empathetic. the jokes are great, i don't feel like they're in poor taste or giving the wrong impression at all, you even avoid them when it feels wrong like in this video. I wish people weren't being so... unfair? Doesn't feel like it covers it but I'm sure you get what I mean

Love this, and for what it's worth, I've always taken your comedy for exactly what it is, and really appreciated your research, rigor, and curiosity. Keep making great content, man. You do a lot of good.

I feel like getting hated for something you don't do and never did is something that comes with the territory of being well-known, and also, lots of humans are stupid and like to not have to think beyond Good Bad and Dolphins

Fabulous video! BTW, if it's any consolation about your naysayers, I was watching a video about snakes the other day and the zoologist called you out as a great source of accurate educational material on animals. So not everyone is a deranged, fact-denying hater. ;)
