I've always loved owls, but your video has rekindled my love of their awesomeness. Your videos are just fantastic. Your deadpan humor and excellent editing make them an absolute goldmine! Falco's death is such a tragedy too...
I grew up on a farm and often had chores after dark. When I say dark I mean DARK with not light or help for miles so I can 1000% vouch for the soul expelling voracity of the scream from a barn owl. Asshat lived in the back pasture barn and always picked a different perch every night to let his presence known. I did manage to get pretty damn good at the 400yrd dash so my track coach was at least happy. Redwing blackbirds are also territorial bastards but that’s another story.
