Progress Report (#17)

Happy new month. It's time for another progress update. Here is a breakdown on what has happened since the last one.

Renders and Animations:

I am actually finally starting to see the finish line on the render count. It's been a long and tedious process but I've managed to whittle it down to the final quarter or so. Animations have been going well too as I've been able to fully animate render and postwork 20% of all animations. I divide my time now between posing renders and animating then I throw everything into the batch renderer before going to bed so it renders overnight.

Miscellaneous:

This covers the minor things to bring the update together and flesh out the world. They're mostly just pinups for the social media app and working on the dialogue trees for interactivity with NPCs via texts or comments on social media posts. I nibble away at these when I don't have time to fully work on the main stuff or when I just need a break from the more exhausting work.

Industry News:

I'm sure you've all heard about the new Discord policy coming into effect next month. I am not sure how that will affect my server or my account. I don't know if I'll be required to show ID or my face in order to keep control of my server. I really hope not. As for you guys, if you get kicked or lose access to my server for whatever reason and you don't want to give away your information then just dm me here, on twitter or on discord and I'll help you get back in somehow. I hope it doesn't get to the point where I have to disable nsfw filters on channels because that would mean no more lewds in the server. One way or another, I'll find a way around this but I'll have to see how it affects things to know my next steps.

Anyway, I'll just keep working on Chapter 2. The next comic won't be out until after I release Chapter 2 BETA. In the meantime, here are some renders from Chapter 2.

p.s. Don't forget to check out the Havenwood Diaries Bundle on sale now until 11:59 pm (PST) on the 15th of February. It's 50% off and contains all 4 comics plus 12 bonus renders.

Until Next Time,
