Blender shenanigans...
Hey guys, how are we all doing?
So, Last month I said I'm learning animation in Blender and man... Feels great to learn new 3d software, but also it's so intimidating... Last month I spent most of the days learning Blender, and learnt a few things. Sammy hooked me up with some good tutorials on making NSFW stuff in Blender, and I found some more online, Oh! I made the infamous Donut tutorial for the 2nd time,
So yeah, I got some good news and bad news, the good news is I think I can make animations in Blender with a few more practices and time, and the bad news, I think I'm already running out of the latter, and Daz models materials sucks in blender, it can be tuned into something more realistic but I just dunno how...
I haven't gotten into hair converting yet, so yeah, ignore them for now.
Or I need to get more detailed into the Blender shading to achieve it. And from what I saw, the Blender NSFW artists are doing God's work if we compare them to Daz artists, just look at that loba model they made, it might be converted from Daz or just a Blender model, I dunno, I just downloaded it from smutbase and made a basic render but the overall skin looks great IMO. I made an animation with a Blender model, it's not complete yet, will post it here when I finish it, and I've decided to put a pause on my Blender enthusiasm for now. And just continue with DAZ. The animation might be janky, but overall, DAZ is easy. will be back with an update on the progress in the next post, and also March Wallpapers. See ya.
btw, who's your fav girl?

looks awesome . i am curious how the animations look . where can i sign up so i can learn from you and sammy? Amy<3
DM me broddy I can hook you up
In the same boat, I am relatively new to Daz but also want to learn blender, mainly for Animations, but if I can learn Blender well enough would be awesome to just do it all in Blender completely! Have you tried Diffeomorphic? It seems to import the Skin Texture a little bit better but not perfect. Been looking up guides, can make the skin like Daz but looks like a lot of ground work is needed for that
Yeah, I used Diffeomorphic to import the models to Blender, tried the cycles only material option, cause everyone recommended that's the ideal option if we want the material similar to DAZ. However, you don't have much to customize in that option. The extended principle one looks customizable, I tweaked the shading in that setting for the second comparison in this post. I'm interested on seeing your animation and your workflow. Let's talk some time when you're free.
