would people be interested in this option along with the month-to-month options? Only downside is I have to enable charging up-front.

From what i gather, default is 16% discount for paying in a lump sum (I assume on the tier they choose) which i can customise. I think at this point i will leave it simply because i don't like the idea of patreon charging on the first of the month compared to the end of the month. It doesn't allow people change their minds easily. So for now i will leave it as monthly, but might revisit it in the future. As some have said, it's not replacing anything, merely another option to give people more flexibility. I am not sure it meshes well (see what I did there?) with a PWYW type patreon, but obviously i have been here long enough for it to become an option to offer.
will there be like exclusive content specifically for annual subscription? or will it be the same as the current monthly subscription?
I don't want to make anything exclusive, this is merely just another way for people to support if they choose. I rather let the content speak for itself then let FOMO take over.

I prefer this and it pleased me so much to be able to finally give you something cause the coffe thing didnt work for me. If its gonna start costing a lot I might have to leave. Its like all of the creators suddenly want a lot of money. So now I cant afford some ppls CC anymore. Not the end of the world ofc but it still makes me a bit sad 😢😭 However if this is costing you money then you will have to charge more ofc, Im clueless on how this really works o.0

how? there would still be monthly pledges its just letting those who can and want to pay for a year be able to do that. there's no additional perks to getting the yearly subscription vs. monthly
