WURK alternate pieces
This was going to be a poll, but writing this out helped me make a decision ๐
I was second-guessing myself. I really don't like catalogue bloat if I can avoid it, but I designed this kitchen in such a way I can't seem to avoid it. So here was the dilemma.
For WURK I designed 2 additional standard counter pieces (drawers and doors seen above). Usually I would swap these in for the end pieces but I made unique designs for those. However, like an idiot I mapped it to the counter texture even though I had no room to add the pieces into one object.... If I do them separately I either forgo the wall variants (usually not a problem but would be with this design) or have to make those in addition which would mean a total of 3 or 5 items respectively. That is a lot of catalogue bloat. So I was going to post a poll asking for opinions on what option would be better, but typing it out it just made the most sense to make them additional modular counter (and eventually island) pieces, and to flip the asymmetrical end pieces for added variety. It solves the wall clipping issue because it will already have the wall and off-wall variants built in, and my mistake will seem like it was on purpose....
So there will be 3 counter items, and if people don't like one or more of the options, they can delete it. Also means I don't have to remap stuff after my fuckup ๐ ๐
