Having a lil Saturday morning catch-up 馃槉 Happy to see Dungarees pretty much fully back on her feet and being such a busy bee! While your 9-to-5 takes time away from book club, mine literally gave me material to read xdd. Had a blast watching The Odyssey鈥擨 liked it A LOT. There were so many incredible scenes. The Hades scene was strongly one of them for me (not them being completely buried under the sand the whole time). And that observation about the music... damn, I might need to watch it again just to focus on it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Also what I catched was that Sirens musical motif (I think it was identical flute piece) returns at Odysseus's reunion with Penelope as he is trapped inside beggar's disguise in his own home (inches away from what he wants but cant yet have) Swear every time Odysseus and his crew are running toward their ship, all I can see is Captain Jack Sparrow being chased in Dead Man's Chest xdd Dungarees is out here mastering SFX at this point鈥擸es, Chef was excellent in more than one way 馃敟 Hope you have a lovely weekend! 馃А
Oooo I didn't catch the flute piece in the return. The score was such a huge part of the movie I'm excited to listen and watch again 馃槉
I know you won't, but im gonna miss stuffy Dungarees 馃ぇ馃グ you sound so cute! 馃槄 Also, 73 books?! Oh my god thats incredible! I don't know if I've read 73 books in my LIFE!馃槶 Also your bit with the Dussy soundtrack and "Stanley!" Was hilarious lol Also, one last serious bit, there have been a lot of asmr/audio channels on YouTube taken down this week, and I just wanted to mention it to you. Its really unfair, frustrating and just scary how channels with no strikes have been deleted entirely. Idk what can be done about it but I just wanted you to be aware of it. 鉂わ笍 Take care Dungarees! And have a great weekend!
I watched Th Odyssey last week and really liked it! Your observation about the music I didn't even realise and honestly now I like the film even more. But does this mean Odyssey inspired audios in the near future? (Sirens, perhaps? Or returning to Ithaca?)
Maybe, there would likely be too many tos issues for patreon for a traditional siren but I have done playful versions before :D
