I think I mentioned I thought this was stand alone but it's apparently not. It was marketed as "the princess bride for the romantasy age" but it's not giving what I personally love about the princess bride but I'm holding on till the end.
Dire Bound (Sable Sorensen)
Fourth Wing but with dire wolves? I think? Seems to be a "trials" + war college style Fantasy. I'm like 60ish pages in but that's what I believe it'll be.
Dear Reader (Tate James)
This is like a dark why choose university romance, a very quick read, could have finished it in one but it's a nice break between the fantasies that I've been reading. I'll likely pickup the rest of the series unless they really annoy me at the end.

I also have a fear of the ocean & that trailer definitely didn't help lol Idk if you've seen it, but it reminded me of this episode in One Piece where something similar happens. Except it's funny & not scary like Whalefall 😭
Happy friiiiiiday! So many goodies to come! I’m so excited!! I think I could listen to you yapping about books for hours. Dungarees book summaries and reviews (new series 😜😜) I am sooooo looking forward to the shipwreck series. Oh to be a fly on the wall in your writers room. The fanfic writer brain in me is buzzing with this theme Weirdly enough I’ve been to the beach tonight after work. I needed some disassociation next to water time. I think that’s why I like the sea/ocean though is that it’s so vast and undiscovered but just so majestic at the same time. I’m not usually a thriller gal but I am intrigued! Hope you’ve had a good week girlie and have a lush weekend!!

Ok, i had time during my break and watched the trailer.... DUNGAREES WHAT *HAVE* YOU BEEN READING!?🤣😱 that movie looks scary af!! And you're afraid of the ocean!? Omg 😅 ok I HAVE to see it cause it's like Jaws and Body Dick and omg... that Whale Clicking freaks me out even in nature documentaries but in that trailer?!?!😭

Damn, the trailer definitely was unsettling xdd. This definitely caught my attention though — writing this one down for a cinema visit. (I watch it and all I could think about was the comment bellow saying if this were animated, it would be such a cozy, funny, wholesome movie about friendship xdd) You have my heart with the book updates. Truly, the effort you put into sharing them and writing them up so, so lovely 🧡 My curious little sponge-brain is always soaking it all up.
