Playing with both Fsub and Fdom this week <3 + Casual Friday "book club" update <3
ALSO the flip of the Friday audio (Fsub version) will be coming next month so if you're looking at these schedule and wishing it was Fsub Bondage you will be satisfied next month! I've really been enjoying flipping/making alt versions of the same ideas recently and I hope you like it too. ❤️❤️
Casual Friday "book club" update (Atmosphere spoilers)
I finished Atmosphere last night and the ending 1000% made me cry. When I was reading it I so wished that it could have had a couple chapters scattered from the perspective of the other women specifically
Lydia: I believe so fervently that it would have been so powerful to actually get into her mind and hear how she felt instead of how others interpreted how she felt. I personally believe Joan to be a pretty poor judge of character based on her belief that there are "no cowboys at NASA" but the person she was supposed to know the most about was 100% a cowboy. Having just one chapter of her would have done wonders .
Donna: How she felt that she couldn't love her baby as much as partner could was HEARTTBRREAKING and a chapter of her's would break me in the best way.
Barbara: There is more to her, there is a reason for why she abandoned her daughter and I need it.

Can I just say I’m loving dungarees mini book reviews 🥰 I think that’s the issue with big ensemble stories is you don’t always get as much detail and perspective from the surrounding characters even when they make up a big chunk of dialogue/plot. When I wrote my big fanfic there was maybe 3/4 chapters just dedicated to ensemble characters side stories but I suppose you don’t get that luxury as often in novels. I think for me I enjoyed the whole theme of love in its many forms more than anything. Especially in the romance genre the focus is mainly on romantic love (although I suppose that’s the point) but having familiar love, tough love, found family love but it did just make want to see more of the ensemble characters and their experiences at the same time. Hope it helped with your idea if you’re still working on it
Ohhh myyy, bondage and a coming-up flip version... so freakin’ excited 👀 Those alternative versions really fill that craving for the best of both worlds that I love. Ahh yes, a little “book club” update 🧡 I loved reading your thoughts. And I see I wasn’t the only one with tears in my eyes by the end... that ending got me good. I would’ve LOVED getting the other women’s POVs too. A Donna chapter especialy near the ending would’ve absolutely wrecked me. I was so conflicted about Barbara the whole book, so getting inside her head would’ve really scratched that itch for me. I also really loved seeing Joan fall in love with romantic love — that was genuinely beautiful to watch unfold. That insight that Vanessa was cowboy-like is soo on point when you think about it, though at the end it blended for me into high-intensity relational risk-taker. It was also really special seeing Lidia’s little moments of softness, where you could grip the human beneath all the armor, ahh need moree. Also, I was wondering, if you like to share, — you mentioned reading reviews of romance that you loved last year saying it was very much “Taylor Jenkins Reid-coded.” Now that you’ve finished the book, was that satisfied? Do you feel that it fits/makes sense?
I think it's a goodish fit, I believe it's because of the development of the "background" characters which leads to a more litfic read vs pure romance. I feel like this one was a little more romance and less litfic though and it did leave me wanting more though that's probably what they wanted? I will say this one was much more of a romance than the favorite imo!
Love bombed by Dungarees!! I definitely can't wait for that 🥰🤗💗 ty so much. Have a nice weekend!🐧🌹
Oh I can’t wait for this upcoming week and next month! Thank you dungarees 🥰 The book sounds amazing! I need to read more so I might check it out👀
