Hmm. The quill... First thought was tickling, how it may be pleasant or even turturous, depending on the intensity. A sadist's dream when it comes to torture methods I'd imagine. Or of course it's symbolic, a quill consisting of a soft end and a sharp pointy end? Or its just an inside joke ^^
Not an inside joke. But it does deal with a symbol of a sort.
