PsyAmb 141 - Magical Daze [ Mix Download ]

Welcome aboard for another journey into the realms of chilled-out psydub and psychill sounds. This time, we’re taking a nostalgic detour, revisiting some classic psychedelic ambient dub and chillout tunes. It’s always a good idea, I think, to tip our hats to these gems now and then—lest we forget, as they say. Tracks like these, after all, are the cornerstones of modern psydub and psybient production, paving the way for new listeners to discover music they might otherwise have missed.

For this mix, I’ve created some new artwork to complement the vibe. I’ve gone for a stenciled, street-art style using my trusty Copic markers, with a dash of abstract watercolor thrown in for good measure. You can also grab a print copy of the full artwork on the KOALACID RedBubble shop.

I’d like to take a moment to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a bright, joyous New Year. As we edge closer to 2025, know that the PsyAmb project will continue to deliver top-notch music and art experiments.

A heartfelt thank you for your incredible support here on Patreon throughout 2024. It’s been a year of remarkable changes in the music world, not least the rise of AI-generated music, which has had profound effects on musicians everywhere. Your backing means the world—not only to me but to the artists whose work you’re helping to sustain.

Each week, I’ll keep digging to bring you fresh, exciting music, supporting the creative voices that make it all possible. Let’s give a big round of thanks to these artists and wish them resilience and success in these unusual times.

Cheers,

PsyAmb.
