PsyAmb 137 - Ektoplazm in Dub [ Mix Download ]
Hi Guys. Time for another PsyAmb mix. This week we are looking at psydub music available on the Ektoplazm website. What's Ektoplazm ? Ektoplazm is a website that has been distributing psychedelic music ( psytrance, goa, psybient, downtempo ) since around 2007 in some form or other. With millions of downloads ( all free by the way ! ) over the years it quickly grew into the number one destination for free psychedelic music, all available via the Creative Commons distribution model. The site supports it's server costs through donations and has been many a psychedelic music fan's introduction to the wonderful world of trance genres and psychedelic chillout. These days it has kind of morphed into a Bandcamp model but the site's creator,DJ Basalisk, is still active and hopeful of revamping the website with a fresh version sometime.
I hope you enjoy the mix and find something within that resonates with you. The artwork for this mix is an original hand-drawn composition. You can see the drawing process for it via the PsyAmb YouTube channel so check that out if you like to watch a bit of doodling.
Thanks again for your support of the PsyAmb project. I've picked up a few more new releases of late, so we will be back to some more new music with the next mix. Utill then, take care and a thousand blessings for your generosity and support.
Cheers,
PsyAmb
