My status

Good day, everyone.

The purpose of this message is to let you know that I'm safe and sound.

As some of you know, I'm from Mexico. This morning, a series of incidents occurred in my region. Fires, roadblocks, robberies and subsequent burning of vehicles, buses and trailers, shootings, and in general, a wave of violence across various parts of my country. My entire city has been completely paralyzed.

Fortunately, since today is my day off, I was at home when all of this happened. But the situation is serious. I can only hope for the best, but I don't know how long this situation will last.

Honestly, I can hardly believe this situation. I look out my window, and it's like a ghost town. There's no one in the streets, the stores are closed, and you only hear sirens in the distance.
