Feb '26 Progress Report!

Happy February Is Over day! The month of love, and of Seasonal Depression, and of Karen and I going to the Pokémon Go Tour at the Rose Bowl. Two of the pictures above depict those moments (I decided to not put a picture of seasonal depression). For Valentine's, Karen and I went to Disneyland for "Sweetheart's Night" while wearing matching overalls because we figured we'd go all out on the couple stuff. And we tried to get a kissing photo on Space Mountain, and BOY OH BOY does that ride make your faces smack into each other a lot when you're trying to get a kiss picture. But that's a sacrifice you make for love.

WHAT HAVE I BEEN WORKING ON

Thank you all VERY MUCH for your opinions on a Midnight Gourmand Apron. I took them all into account, and I did make it just say "MIDNIGHT GOURMAND." Sometimes, simpler is better. Now, I'm just waiting for it arrive so I can film this dang thing. But in the meantime, here's a blurry photo of the apron + another thing I'm working for my merch store, since I have been deeply neglecting it:

No more news on Pumpkin Cowboy stuff just yet, but hopefully soon!

Other than that, did you know Karen and I got to write for the upcoming Starship Troopers video game? When they said, "We're making the game as if it was made by the in-universe Federation, including FMV cutscenes," Karen and I said "YES PLEASE LET US WRITE FMV SATIRE ABOUT FASCISM." I'm very excited for it to come out.

Blender is going well, but slightly slower because I had to do some more prep for pitches that Karen and I have coming up. It seems like the entertainment industry is kind of getting back to maybe, actually, possibly starting to spin up more shows and writing again? Knock on wood.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR YOU?

I'll have the next Midnight Gourmand filmed by end of March, and I'll have the blender video in a better position by the end of March, as well. I have a lot of family obligations in April, so March is going to be HITTING THE WORK HARD.

Honestly, I'd like to get a different video out by the end of March, just to get something done. I think I might try to start/finish a video in a week, and I'll post it here even if it doesn't go up on the YouTube channel. I haven't posted in so very very long, and I need to ease myself back into it.
