New version [Music splitter]

On the original algorithm, for the vocal remover and isolation you were able to download the music and the vocal. With the new version, it only downloads the music. Would it be possible to bring back the option to download the vocals as well please?

Same problem as everyone else — I can use the normal vocal remover via patreon, but using the splitter says "too many requests from IP" and if i sign into patreon, it keeps happening.

How do you merge multiple sounds?

Hello, I am a user of vocalremover.org. I have registered as a member and use the feature to separate music and vocals regularly, with audio clips longer than 10 minutes. However, this morning, I was unable to use it as usual. I could only upload a single audio file, and it was less than 10 minutes long. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

This is amazing! I use it for creating custom karaoke tracks of some of my favourite songs. These are all lesser-known songs - song from local artists - which no karaoke maker has covered before. I'm so glad you have provided us with such an excellent vocal remover. It's almost unbelievable how well it works!

When saved where do I find the music?

I have a 70 minute show multitrack (we live-streamed with vocal mic highlighted in logic that was audibly clear on the stream, yet wasn't armed for recording.) Is there a longer limit available, or should I split into multiple sub-25minute sections manually?

Not working. When I upload a mp3 file, it works fine. Try upload a wav it says "Network error occured, check your internet connection. Error code"

This program gets better and better! I've tried the "with guitar" option and so far it works great. Sometimes a little from other instruments seeps in, but it is to be expected.

You have the best program I have found for what I want to do. Just wish you can take out keyboard stuff. I do a lot of Styx and they do a lot of keyboard work. Other than that the program is great. This comes from a guy who us 70 and an old school musician with a tech bacground.

Vocalremover.org is pretty good at its job. I got here after the Beatles released their latest track, which used AI extensively to isolate John Lennon's voice. Your service allowed me to remix a song I recorded back in 2016. I didn't have the access to the stems, so this was my only option. Thank you!

Hello (sorry if the translation of my message is approximate). As for my part, I haven't had any music to test with the guitar, but I've been comparing a bit between the "Default" and "Beta" versions. I can confirm that I generally find the beta version to be better, not only for separating vocals but also for potential background noises in general, such as isolating the music. I think it would be great to have checkboxes so that the AI could keep together only the instruments selected and separate the rest. Perhaps this could be considered for a future update (hoping for improved compatibility with my screen reader to be added as well).

This tool is most useful to me for older recordings (my own) where I want to remove a clean vocal take. I'd say it's 80% there. Pretty good! It also does well for old video tapes... isolating the speech and turning down the tape hiss/background noise

By far the best splitter out there. I'm a little worried that some will abuse the fact that the only thing keeping people from the full version is a different link. I think you should lock it down more.

Also a chorus track separation like guitar could be better so it can be selectively muted/included.

I take the film, I record my voice and I use the tool to take off the voice of the original film and keep all the music or ambiental effects but sometimes I want to keep the background voices or noise. Why my version only shows Music and Vocals and not Bass and Drums?

I am not sure that you have thought about all of the possibilities for this. I am using it for exactly what it is made for, but, I am starting to hear things that I had no idea that were there. I processed an older song and during the intro I noticed in the wav form it stated vocals when there should be none when complete. There were voices and some random singing where you usually only hear instruments. I almost didnt process this song but I am so happy I did. Now, my only worry is that it is artifatcs from processing and that it was just random. I will process a different files to see if I get the same results.

I have some feature ideas: I would like to see a feature where I can download all files at once and maybe you could also add the ability to save one track to the left channel and others to the right channel. I could then pan the balance if I wanted to hear other instruments. Another thought would be to add a function to slow down the track while keeping the pitch. An EQ would also be helpful. Thanks again for your amazing work!

I knew about this a year ago and it improved a LOT I remember that one song I loved had no instrumental version and just letting it do it's thing did absolutely wonders! One thing that's worth mentioning that this works best if the file is super high def. I used FLAC files and even the music splitter worked well which I hardly believed! The best vocal remover!

When I use this site on mobile doing vocal remover, I try to save the vocals and music, it restarts the app saying network error even though my network is good.

It is not working for me anymore and simply takes too long to load until i give up and exit the website

Here's a feature suggestion , to add an option for recording, voice and drums together at the level of each we want or and music and voices , or bass and drums . Don't get me wrong I love appreciate everything you've done so far thank you

A fantastic app, glad you have chosen the free and no ads route, thank you. A feature request, for the "pitch" tab, adding a reverb slider would be nice, ability to create a "slowed and reverb" version of the song in-app. You could take this idea even further, and use vocal separation, elements of the song, the ability to add effects *from pitch* to each layer, ability to add uploaded mp3's into the layer stack in-app. I think there is potential for something great.

very disappointed with the pitch changer not worth 2 cents

the pitch changer is the most horrible sound muisc waves in an out aan sounds like its got a flanger with a heavy spring reverb no way to use this in public im a 40 yr vet in music i wouldnt let my dog here this vocal remove not bad the pitch got to fix or take off so bad

I think I've tested the new version of vocal remover extensively now, I have compared music backgrounds created with both algorithms and I am confident, that the new algorithm definitely works better - it splits way cleaner and i think it makes less mistakes now (e.g. removing parts that are not vocals) - compared to the old version it sometimes leaves more residual vocals BUT IMO this is definitely worth it - because then both parts are way cleaner and generally sound better. Thank you for your work, I am still amazed that one can create such a brilliant tool.

Perhaps soon you can separate the lead vocal from the vocal harmonies or the background vocals. I guess this is kind of hard to do, but it's okay if it can't be done.

Woaaah dude!! Just compared it to the old version using 3 different songs and it sounds so much better than I expected! I thought this was just going to be a slight improvement but it's actually like a thousand times better! The vocals sound so damn clear! A little bit of eq-ing, maybe some Unchirp by Zynaptiq and you got yourself a studio acapella hehe. Good job man! <3
