[Poll 2-A] Horror Movies!!
Hello All -
Navi here (again). We would like to watch one horror movie per month (if possible) and need your help! You will find a poll below with 25 choices. Please note that this is a public poll.
- Poll 2-B: After a week, top 8 picks will be re-posted in a new and final poll only on Patreon to decide which three movies we watch first
- We would re-post this poll every 3-months to keep it fresh.
P.S. if your choice is not listed, add it to the comments and I will make sure to get these included to the next poll.

Don't sleep on Black Phone. That's a 2020s classic
Why would you want them to watch Cabin in the woods when the movie itself is making fun of classic horror movie tropes and themes when they haven’t seen enough classic horror to appreciate it.
I mean it's just general horror movies rules that all movies have made fun of. It's more rewarding as far Easter eggs go but anyone could watch it.
Representing the under represented true ghost flicks.... The Others
Killer Klowns From Outer Space
The '80s classic Fright Night is worth a watch. I am a classic movie fan so the '70s Omega Man and the '60s The Blob are also fun.
The Scream movies would be really fun
Please add Scream to the list
I’d like to nominate puppet master for the next poll
Looks like Cabin in the Woods will win, but I hope you check out The VVitch later
please react to The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse
Some movies I would recommend are Kwaiden (1964), The Host (2006) directed by Bong Joon-ho, Slither, Cube, Prince of Darkness, In the Mouth of Madness, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978). Also, I agree with Sickleweed who said you should watch a bit more horror movies before seeing The Cabin in the Woods. On that note, Hellraiser is another one I would recommend.
Hmm, I could only choose one. Due to this, the one I clicked is Silence of the Lambs. But X and Pearl are my second and third choice.
“YOU’RE NEXT” would be the Best on this list & it’s not even on the list! 😳🤯🤦🏾♀️
Black phone or Cabin in the Woods PLEASE!!!! &&& Why on EARTH IS “YOU’RE NEXT” not on here but that crap knock off wana be “Ready or Not” is?! 😳🤯
Y'all can't watch Split without watching Unbreakable....honestly these movies aren't exactly horror movies lol...
Some of these are thrillers and not horror. I'd also say it would be great to see films not in English. Japanese and Korean horrors are super good.
Please DM us some good Korean and Japanese horror movies. WOuld love to incorporate them into the next poll (Navi)
I think Ready or Not is a surprisingly fun movie, and Samara Weaving does such a great job as the lead!
I want The Mist to win not just because it’s a scary movie but because the ending is so shocking
U should checkout the book or at least YouTube vids discussing the BooK!!! Holy Moly it’s like way WAYYYY CREEPER! Like the crazy preaching lady, Wasny actually crazy & sooo much makes sense 😳
Silence of the lambs , not only a great scary movie, but an amazing movie in terms of Cinematography.
Cabin in the Woods kinda only works if you've seen a lot of horror movies
So scary 😭
Hide and Seek 2005 with Robert De Niro and Dakota Fanning
I voted for 28 days they recently announced a new trilogy I think with the original writer and director teaming back up
The Scream movies! They'd make for such fun reactions
Yes, please!!
If you do The Shining, you should watch Doctor Sleep after.
I wish The Empty Man was on the poll, that movie was crazy.
should watch smile or saw
It's still not allowing me to vote for multiple options. "Silence of the Lambs" is a GOAT psychological horror film. It's still the only horror film to win an Academy Award for Best Picture.
same only gives me one pick
Also, even though it's winning, maybe you should save Cabin in the Woods until you've seen more horror movies since you might appreciate it even more.
This right here. I love Cabin in the Woods and think its a must watch movie for any horror fan. But its a love letter to horror films and its fans. So it might not have the same impact.
Sorry, I'm gonna be that repetitive person but please consider movies like Autopsy of Jane Doe, Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, Hell House LLC Part 1, The Host (by Rob Savage), Barbarian, and Talk to Me. They will probably never win any polls but are so good for reactions! Also, much love to ALL the Normies but Rana, Marketa and Pat absolutely have to be part of every horror movie reaction 🤣.
I think The Conjuring would get more fun reactions but Silence Of The Lambs is such a good movie I just want them to watch it.
For true horror, they need to watch Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.
I think something is wrong with the poll its only letting me choose one movie and it says you can choose multiple movies
Ready or Not is a great game, lol.
No offense I have not heard of most of these movies The First Purge is good same for 28 Days later is good and the mist is meh . I would have voted for BrightBurn Constantine and The Happening or even any Final Destination movie
"The Silence of the Lambs" won Best Picture and numerous awards....
Split, The Babadook, and VVitch are my personal choices but I know there's no way they'll ever win. Also Split and Pearl are technically sequel/prequels, but they can stand alone perfectly fine. Even add it follows on there because it's a weird way with a cool underlying message. I wish Bye Bye Man were on here because it's fun to repeat the tag line and it's been memed so much
Please add “Tucker and Dale vs Evil”
My vote would've been for The Silence of the Lambs or The Shining immediately, but PLEASE The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) is a must.
The Silence of the Lambs is a CLASSIC, though I’m not sure it’s horror so much as psychological thriller. It’s still a must watch and has in-part inspired masterpieces like True Detective and Zodiac. Cabin in the Woods, The Babadook, and 28 Days Later are also solid watches.
Where are the scream movies ???????
Talk to Me
The new Superman was also in pearl
Talk to Me was a great little horror movie last year
Multiple choice isn't working
silence of the lambs is a classic. VOTE VOTE VOTE
cabin in the woods is a horror movie? ngl I say its more of a comedy movie
it's specifically horror comedy mostly because it's satire about horror in general
Can something not commercial and franchised win please
I am happy evil dead rise is on here but does that mean no reactions to the original trilogy?
Let’s go saw squad
The multiple choice isn’t working
Knock At The Cabin Door would be a MUCH better alternative to Cabin In The Woods lol, hell I accidentally clicked it thinking it was KATCB 💀🤣 Also, I PERSONALLY wouldn't quuuite call it horror, but you guys DEFINITELY need to watch Leave The World Behind! All those actors fkn-ATE their roles UP and left ZERO crumbs, and the movie itself has one of the BEST takes on a 10 Cloverfield Lane-esque event!
agreed on LTWB! for some reason I can't stop thinking about that movie since I watched it the first time. Already watched it again and just started the book.😅 i may be a little obsessed
This poll is a disaster. 🤦♂️ Edit: That’s a little vague and I don’t like to be negative without any reasoning, so to clarify my thoughts: This needs to be like three or four entirely different polls. You’ve got brand new movies right next to all-time greats, genuine horror right next to horror comedy/meta horror next to slashers next to psychological thrillers. That possibly the most “very okay” movie on here, Cabin in the Woods, is winning in a landslide is probably a result of how all over the place the options are. Too many opinions about which is the best type of horror would split the votes so people just vote for a safe choice and so you’re likely not going to get the best of any one type. You’ll just get very okay.
How tf is cabin in the woods winning lol
Lmfaoo might me the worst movie on the list 😂
If you watch silence of the lambs it would be good to follow it up with nbc hannibal show 👉👈
You guys are wild they aren’t ready for the cabin in the woods haha 😂 I don’t think they could handle it
Why does the Mist, a movie which has THE darkest ending out of everything on here, have so little votes?? Uncultured swine 🤦🏾♂️
That's a great movie but is having the darkest ending the only qualifier you want for movie choice?
Definitely gonna recommend Alien(1979). Not sure how many on the couch have seen it.
One of my favorite horror movies is kind of like.. not well known. It wa received well, but it's a Netflix foreign movie so I guess not many people saw it? Anyways, The Ritual on Netflix. So good.
THE VVITCH PLSSSS
Voted for The Witch, but really, again, looking forward to so many of the choices here! Very happy with the quality of the polls
Wow Im shocked at the EXCELLENT taste of the voters this time. Cabin in the Woods!!!! LETS GOOOO!!!!
For a future horror poll, add in Dead Alive aka Braindead by Peter Jackson (yes, that Peter Jackson).
And why tf are people still voting for the top 2 when they're obviously gonna win and everything else is 5% or less, it's a top 8 poll so you could actually affect the others instead of wasting your vote
Please tell me Pat will be on the couch for these 😂😂
Haha, Pat and Rana are obligated to be on these reactions
Split would be cool if they did the Unbreakable trilogy. Although I was disappointed by Glass, it's such a unique trilogy. It's a rare instance where Disney and Universal allowed crossover on IPs they each had exclusive rights to. It's even more unique than Hulk since this isn't a case where one studio was licensing the rights. Disney owned the rights to Unbreakable straight up and Universal owned Split.
Put Alien
Cabin in the woods is fucking hilarious 😂
I saw The Mist in theaters and I absolutely loved it. However, I have never sat down and watched it since. I occasionally catch bits and pieces but whenever I see it come on I avoid it. It just affected me too much that first time. It is a film everyone should watch at least once.
Multiple choice isint working btw.
Sinister
new poll !!!
Went with the shining, because that is a movie everyone should see. Its a masterclass of how to buid tension on screen. Silence of the Lambs is just as good, definitely one you should watch at some point.
Nooo i need X And Pearl
The Mist and Cabin in the Woods please
Doesn't seem to be allowing multiple votes despite the description?
The cabin in the woods is so damn good
Can we get "No One Will Save You"?
Not nearly enough love for 28 Days Later around here. Iconic
Aww man I really wanted Barbarian but a Conjuring verse reaction will do
The 6 that I would want most come out to a combined 11% so far, not sure I've ever been so far from the consensus on a patreon poll before. Still, I like Cabin in the Woods and Silence of the Lambs so no tears here.
Bones and all, the silence of the lambs, and the shining shouldn’t even be here just absolutely watch those. And the hills have eyes if its the remake the original might be a little outdated
HEREDITARY PLEASE???
It’s the one I immediately scanned the list for; should be there!
If these haven’t been watched before: Let the Right One In Carrie (original) Kuroneko Train to Busan The Fly
They reacted to Train to Busan a few years ago.
Cabin in the woods is such an overrated gimmicky movie. Most be Thad’s voting.
There’s no way I’m the only one that’s seen X and pearl. Those are definitively better than half this list
Thats what im sayin
How can I only vote for one 😩 these are all great choices
Would love to see 28 days later, cause the sequel is pretty solid. And the new movie is coming out as well!
Can I throw wolf creek in as a suggestion 😂
It says multiple choice is allowed but i can only vote once?…
Yeah I’m also getting only single choice
