(Another) COVID Update (ugh...)
Hello to all of our homies!
As it turns out, our Monday announcement came a bit prematurely. While Chris is on a speedy way to full recovery, we received another positive test in our group, this time Suraj. He's taking some time off and taking things easy, resting and getting his body strong for the war against this ick.
Unfortunately before we got his results back, a few of our reactors were with him in the same room (albeit socially distancing), so we do not want to risk anyone to come in to the studio until EVERYONE has confirmed to be COVID negative. We will keep our schedule unchanged for most of our releases, however there are three shows we simply can not continue until all tests are back.
Money Heist is reaching a finale and we wouldn't want Sarah, Spidey and Logan to miss that for anything! We were supposed to react today but now have to push things again. :(
Second show this will affect is Seven Deadly Sins. We can't have Mikey come over this Friday to film and we've run out of episodes, so there is going to be at least one week gap in releases.
Last of the shows that will be affected is DARK. For the same reasons as SDS, the group for this reaction is way too small for one person to be missed.
We don't know how long of a break this will require, because all of the testing sites around us have been extremely overwhelmed, but we are doing the best we can to make this waiting period as short as possible. For our sakes, as well as yours!
All other shows reactions will remain to be filmed, but expect smaller groups in some cases until things go back to normal again.

First, take the time you need and get well! :) That being said, I'm a bit surprised that a bigger buffer has not been built up yet for exactly these kind of situations. We're in lockdown for about 6 months now so I kinda expected you all to be a bit more prepared by now :(
Hi Frank! Completely valid assumption. Logistically speaking, we were prepared for most of the shows, but unfortunately could not prepare for these three. With Money Heist there were a lot of scheduling conflicts and other time-management issues (personal and professional), with Dark we literally just started :( And as for SDS, again the time is of importance here as shows involving Mikey are only watched on Fridays when he's able to be down here with us and he's also part of other shows we have to film just on that day. So... it's not like we didn't try :( it's just a lot more that goes into this than one would think. we take our diversity and inclusion as more important than just getting a video out there. and in order to include everyone, we sometimes have to make compromises and work on crunch time.

yikes! be careful you guys! It sucks if your city is behind on testing, that makes it difficult. I know alot of companies in my city that have regular COVID tests to keep peace of mind, if nothing else. Hopefully you guys can get all your tests done soon and back together! Be Safe!!

Even if the rest of you do get negative results please don’t go into the studio soon after. Not worth it and a bit irresponsible as ppl can still get sick after a negative result. At least self quarantine for two weeks to make sure y’all are safe!! I wouldn’t worry too much about making videos.
